Ordered my food around 800 pm it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait I ordered three eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and three sausage links, the triple and asked to have country gravy on hashbrowns along with the second order of country fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns the way it comes to get my food 15 minutes later arrived got my food paid the $35 for my food plus a seven dollar tip went back home to eat and found out half of my order was missing so I went back to Perkins and requested the rest of the food. They said that they we had forgot to put the rest of the food in the bag 15 minute drive was 30 minutes there and back by that time, the first order is cold requested that they heat it up or make the food again as I want a hot dinner was told I had an attitude in the door, even though that they had messed up the order was giving the rest of my order and explains her that it’s missing gravy on the hashbrowns after Kaci I am supposed is the manager telling me that I am incorrect and I am the one who ordered it After showing her that you just handed me the missing order without the country gravy on the hashbrowns and saying no it her telling me no it’s on the other order I said no that is not the way I ordered it and again, she counteracted being said that that’s not the way I had ordered it. I said I am the one who ordered it. The other person that was getting the other order was right next to me and explained her know that’s the way he ordered it country gravy on my hashbrowns $35. Plus’s seven dollar tip. All I wanted was my food. Her complete reluctance to even indicate that they had messed up the order in the first place by not giving us. The whole order is completely out of line. I eat out every other day. I will never go back there again. I’d like to reiterate I do not want someone fired over this just a better training not a coaching not a write up not in any way In any way to affect her job other than training Whether that’s Corporate that needs to step in which I have written I do not want this person to lose their job or be their job to be affected other than in anyway shape or form just the understanding that training for something that we couldn’t agree on Shouldn’t have been handled in the light that it was. I’m still waiting for corporate to get back to me and I will call Perkins to make sure she still works there. And as Perkins restaurant Southwest got back to me, I am going to put this at three stars just for the fact that they have...
Read moreCraziest story, went for breakfast with 7 people. Said to put everything on one ticket for the ease. The waitress had a coughing spell, no big deal, one nephew had a hair in his food, overlooked that. The other nephew ordered eggs Benedict with avocado. He didn't get it and the restaurant was out which we didn't know until after it was delivered, he sent it back and then we found out, it also didn't have some other ingredients. I went to pay the bill and asked to have the bill adjusted so we paid for the other eggs Benedict that didn't have avocado. Keep in mind it is a dollar difference. This other waitress got involved and the interaction went into chaos. She said we ordered the entree, I said yes we did and it was not what we got. Apparently I was coming at her. She said I can give you 20% off, I said I didn't want 20% off I just want to pay for what I got. She gave me 20% off the ENTIRE bill $21 instead of minding her own business and just taking off a dollar. Then had the audacity to say "Are we good then?" Look I had no intention of taking advantage of a business, I wanted to pay for the entree we received...what a nightmare. I love coming to Okoboji, have been coming here every summer since I was a kid, spend a TON of money here, I also work with the public every day. I was SHOCKED by this interaction, no one raised their voice, I didn't demand anything. I am so taken aback by this I will never go back to...
Read moreWent up to the register to pay our bill and they charged us for the wrong table. We got 2 VIB one with water and the other with iced tea. I even gave the guy the receipt that he handed to me. He crinkled it up and threw it away. I didn't realize that we got overcharged until we were getting ready to pull out of the parking lot. So my husband turned back around and I went in to have it taken care of. Jason didn't know how to handle the transaction. Kept using the excuse that he was new and his higher-up wouldn't be in for a couple of hours. Gave my phone number and name and asked for him to call me when they get it taken care of. He said that he would. Not too happy with the training of you people. It's sad, that you can't train your people to know how to take care of something like this. Now we were charged for someone else's food and have to wait for them to fix it in order to get it reimbursed onto the card. Which is going to take a while. We were charged over double of what...
