I'm torn on whether to do 3 or 4 stars. It was my first time there and I'll probably give it one more shot. They obviously do a lot of business for a reason, I just don't get it, yet. Ordered a large sub. When they say large, they mean large! I think the cost is justified. I just don't like raw tomatoes so I asked for a different topping. I wasn't told that would be an uncharge when I ordered it since every other place I go to makes that simple adjustment without charging more. That's on me for assuming, but I would've appreciated "just so you know, xxx is going to make it cost a bit more" and I would've opted for an omission rather than a substitute (if that makes sense). That's not to say that an upcharge to get it the way I want isn't something that I would typically go for, but I didn't know it was a cash only place and I only had so much on me. And I refuse to pay $3 to use an ATM in this day in age. The desserts looked AMAZING but there was no price, and again, I was limited due to only having so much cash so I had to leave without one. Sad face! Canned pops were reasonably priced. It looked clean inside. Very homey. But it also looked very chaotic. Watching the employees was difficult for me lol! Instead of having people doing certain jobs, there were 3 employees in a small area trying to make sandwiches for the 3 in store customers, plus more employees working in that same area for take out orders. It took a long time for a simple, cold sub. Again, it must work for them, just seems like it could be streamlined. And maybe we all wouldn't have to be asked multiple times "has everyone been helped" if there was a designated order taker and a designated cashier. (Yes, I've worked in restaurants) Everyone was polite and friendly enough.
I probably don't speak for the majority, but being cash only is a deterrence for me as I rarely have cash. I would much rather pay a slightly higher price for the convenience of paying by card. And giving a cash discount would be nice for those that prefer to pay by cash. And I much prefer this method as opposed to those that do a surcharge for paying by card. Just my opinion, if you ever start accepting...
Read moreAMAZING. John Calabrese and his team have always delivered amazing pizza 🍕 salads, desserts and unfortunately Coke beverages!! (I'm a Pepsi fan) anyway... Kaylee waited on me this time, and I watched all the other busy beavers working hard. Very clean, go in grab a quick fast simple piece of pie... and epic antipasto salad...or even frozen prepared meals to go, very fair prices.
Folks, in my opinion for the quality quantity and high end products that are used...UNDER PRICED. So delicious.
I got several different slices and reheated in the air fryer for an easy dinner where 6 people in my family got to choose what slice they wanted.
The calazone pizza , not pictured here...is by far.. my favorite
They also do amazing catering!!! Highly recommend
BE prepared, cash only!!!!
...nothing wrong with that as being a small business. Go into your sock drawer...

You as an owner should have responded better not be so unprofessional as u did I only said since I came there actually the first time we got way less meat and that your hoagies where still good. You as an owner of a profitable establishment should have answered more professional then you did.
