My little boy and I decided to try this place out for carry out lunch. We stuck with our normal, fried pickle and burger order. “These pickles are big,” was what my little boy said when he first opened the box. I must admit, they are pretty thick, and were pretty tasty. I’m no sure if the ranch was homemade or not, but I think it was and it added some nice flavor to the pickles. He went with a normal cheeseburger and I went with a bacon cheeseburger. After polishing off the pickles, we went to work on the beef. He gives the burger a thumbs up, and says it was pretty good. “I would recommend, if a farmer needs a good burger for a lunch or supper, they try out Route 40,” is what my boy wanted to share. Overall, good burger we had for lunch, and would definitely try other items...

Route 40 Cafe might be tiny on the inside but it is worth the stop. We went on a Friday night we all passed up on the specials but afterwards we were kicking ourselves after seeing other customers get specials. Our food was decent but we want to go back and try different items. The corn nuggets, onion rings and french fries were amazing. The 2 young ladies waitressing were awesome! Very happy and on the spot with all our needs. We are looking forward to...

Stopped by on our way through town for dinner. It is cute, clean, and delicious. We got eggs benedict and it was perfect - the eggs were runny and hollandaise was delicious. Also got the chicken bacon ranch wrap, love that they grill the tortilla. It feels all homemade. Really glad we decided to come here!! Definitely saved for the next time we come through.

My waitress was great The food was ok The steak is not what was advertised on the menu We order medium rare But they cooked it well done The chicken was a little under cooked. We sent everything back and left All and all the food was ok The steak was tender Just not what we wanted The chicken was cooked to legal temp but 160 is still a little to raw for me
