Let me start off by saying we all have different tastes and you should still try this for yourself but it definitely was not anything I would go back to ever again. First off I do want to say the server was great she was the only server working today for the 2 groups plus us that were in the place. I'm wondering why it wasn't busy at all but I think I know now. Let's start with the drinks. Not everyone drinks alcohol, original lemonade, or soda you definitely need to look at other places and see the drink menu. Add different kinds of lemonade at least. The coleslaw was absolutely bad I spit it out the moment I put it in my mouth I'm not sure what was wrong with it but that was something I never want in my mouth again. I was excited to try the onion rings I heard good things but they were not to my liking. The bratwurst was like dried jerkey why? The Mac and cheese a child would surely like it but again not for me it was very bland and had no taste. The cook forgot to add the BBQ sauce to the wings and so the server did apologize although that was not her fault. There was still feathers on the wings oh well I get it the factory miss stuff. I will however say the one thing I did enjoy today was the pulled pork. So if you do happen to go here and are afraid of getting something bad you won't be disappointed with the pulled pork just steer clear of the coleslaw. Unfortunately this will not be a place I ever step foot in again. Again my tastebuds are not like yours and who knows your tastebuds may think the food here is like a 5 star...

Just left! Never again. Table of 7. We ordered a bbq ckn pizza as an app.. NO ONIONS. Told waitress at least 4 times no onions. 35 nins later pizza comes covered in onions. We were told they would make a new one. They did. We gave it back due to them being mad.. so. From time of ordering food we waited approx 60 mins for food to come out. Out of 7 meals only 2 was edible and made correct. 1 of which was a side salad $5.99. Shredded lettuce chz and croutons. Period. Nothing more. 2 of these were ordered Pulled pork sandwich. Meat looked old and weird. Bun was hard. Tasted awful. 1 Bbq can wrap. Ordered plain with only can and chz. Comes out made normal. Sentit back. Comes out again can chz and lettuce. Still wrong. Sent back again same ckn was used and there was evidence of lettuce Burger well done. Was over cooked by far. Rubber. Awful taste. Came with waffle fries that were freezing. Asked for new fries. They never came out 4.dvl chz burger. Hockey puke. Black. Hard. Not good we then asked for owner. She reluctantly came over and was SUPER COMBATIVE. AHE DIDNT CARE ABKUT ANYTHING. JUST MADE STAFFING EXCUSES AND COVID. THENSHE ONLY REMOVED THE WAFFLE FRIES OFF BILL THAT NEVER CAME BACK OUT. WE ASKED FOR A BILL CHANGE. THEY SENT OVER AN OLDER GUY WHO WAS ALSO ARGUMENTATIVE. They were both mad but why??? NEVER AGAIN. FOOD WAS AWFUL AND THE OWNER IS EVEN WORSE....

We stopped in at Beer & Brats for lunch the other day and I’m so glad we did. It’s not exactly in the Heart of Midland and it’s not the Taj Mahal, but it’s a pretty dang good spot to stop for a meal and a beer. It’s an old place, outside of town that has had a few different names over the years but this version might be my favorite.

The menu has an outstanding selection of Brats and there are more than a few beers on tap. However, when I asked our server for a draft beer that was not an IPA, she didn’t know what that was. I’m thinking the staff should know more about the beers and sadly, I ended up drinking a Bud instead. That, however is small potatoes and is my one and only complaint. Our food was served quickly, it was delicious and reasonably priced. You can’t ask for much more than that.

No review is complete without a trip to the head, the latrine, litter box, the can, water closet, John, what ever. In this case, the men’s room at least was clean and functional. It seems like a minor issue but it’s not. It says a lot about the owners and how they take care of their place and their customers and B&B passed the test.

So stop by. It’s good food, good beer, good price....

This place is definitely a dive bar, we went here cause believe it or not, it’s hard to get a good brat where we live. This place did not disappoint on the food and service. The prices are great and there’s tons of options. The server was super nice and helpful. The only thing I didn’t love was the environment. It’s more like a locals/regulars bar that happens to have a great menu. We ate in and there were loud drunk people shouting and walking around and touching people. Bit of a shame cause it could be a great restaurant.

So Beer and Brats is about its namesake, however, we chose to have fish?! Well, actually that’s the only reason we went there, because it’s only offered on fridays. Since the K of C in Auburn went belly up, it’s been a challenge to find a decent fish fry. The Boulevard has a perch dinner at $19, which is ok at best. So Beer and Brats offering that we tried was both the perch and Walleye. They were both really good. Better than the Bouley. Only wish it was offered more than just on Fridays…

I recently lost my dad, went into this little place, and they had two guys singing and playing guitars.. it was so nice to be serenaded, and the owner was as sweet as can be. I will go back and visit when I get up to Midland again. I don't think the crew knows how much it made my sister and I happy... I truly am thankful for the nice and kind gestures.
