Beacon Club — Restaurant in Mills

I know it is old and a staple in the social night life, BUT this place had no idea what it is. Bar, casino, or event center? Who knows, but I only go here if there is something that might be entertaining. Saw Midget wrestling. The following act was a cover band that all the fans were social security age. This may not sound all that bad but when one of the female wrestling entertainers is giving 5$ lap dances after the wrestling matches to anyone with cash in hand I think the event manager needs a new job. If a burlesque show followed the midgets then it would have been a great event. Not a guy with a mid back mullet comes out to do a murderous job of covering Alan Jackson songs. To a crowd of people that are 60 plus...

Thought I finally found a good restaurant in Mills, brisket bowl was good. Ordered again to discover they got rid of it and much of their menu - the replacement plate is $1 more, has half the sides, doesn't include ribs anymore, and they got rid of mashed potatoes entirely. Not worth it now, I hope they reconsider their changes. Edit: It got even worse, the restaurant is barely ever open, the food selection was reduced even further, the club is just a bunch of slot machines and zombies playing them, and this place is not worth the trip anymore by any measure....

With the exception of the manager, the service and staff is wonderful. Thus the reason for the one star The manager needs to go due to poor customer service and staff neglect and unable to work under pressure. The food is super good the atmosphere lively , but when you see staff being rudely spoken to by the manager after asking if we have ordered we could not justify to stay and experience such rude behavior. We will keep on going there but only to be served by staff who actually do their job and make customers...
