Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Pork chop with sweet potato fries was okay. A bit disappointed that it was pork loin since it was pretty chewy and the fries weren't seasoned

Patty melt with potato salad was surprisingly good but could get a bit queasy if you don't eat the pickles with it. Potato salad was on the sweeter side which helped offset the sandwich

Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go but it was interesting seeing all the bills on the walls and ceiling from different times

Service: 5/5 - very friendly and personable. Kind enough to still take our orders at 9:35 PM with a closing time of 10

This is a good motel for anglers and hunters. You get what you pay for and that's the bottom line. Sportsmen appreciate things such as a clean room, hot water, reliable heater, and basic satellite TV. If you're looking for more than that, you probably shouldn't stay there. I've stayed many times when it's too cold to camp and have been satisfied that what I received was worth the money I spent. I say the same about the restaurant as well. We didn't get to eat at the grill because they had shut the kitchen down 20 min earlier than they told us they would. We stayed at the attached Riverview Inn and were unimpressed. No WiFi, no cellular signal (AT&T and Verizon), no water pressure the next morning (literally...there was nary a trickle of hot or cold water at 7:30 am), and no phone. The room also felt dingy, as if it hadn't been used in awhile. This was our experience after paying $59.95.
