Millstone Deli & Convenience Store — Restaurant in Millstone Township

I saw four or five landscapers eating this platter that looked absolutely delicious there was a couple other laborers sitting at various tables also eating it. I looked at the menu there wasn’t really one item over nine dollars on the whole entire menu so I figured prices were pretty much middle of the road for these types of places and in this area. Not cheap but not pricey. Anyway as I was trying to look over the menu and decide which was mostly sandwiches and wraps and salads I saw another platter come up and two more people come up and get it so I was like wow that looks good the gentleman behind the counter said oh it’s delicious you’ll love it you should get that I said OK I’ll take it I went and got a 16 ounce soda or 20 ounce soda and this platter I’m on the platter arrived I took my soda and platter I went to the counter to pay and he rang me up for $16. I was shocked at the price obviously. I felt how could you have a menu filled with things and not have one item over $10 for the most part I may order this and a soda and pay $16. I ate the food it was pretty good and a good temperature but nothing to write home about. Felt this platter, which I can get many places in Patterson, Clifton, Newark and Harrison for about $8-$9 was not as good, not as much food....

Went to this place for a quick breakfast bacon egg and cheese. Their own sign said it was $4 but when they rang me up it was $6. When I pointed to their own sign stating the prices he told me the sign was old and these were new prices. First, if you're going to have prices in your own store then that's what you should sell them for. Second, you don't make bagels homemade or the bread that the bacon egg and cheese goes on and you want to charge over $6 for just that? Went here two weeks ago. I ordered a double egg and cheese on a roll and a bagel. The guy at the counter charged me 17 dollars. When I asked the breakdown, he replied the double egg and cheese was 12 dollars. I pointed to his menu where it was advertised as $4.99. He then tired to play a game that double meant 4 eggs. I opened my sandwich and there was no place for 4 eggs. When I raised my voice they succumbed and said it was a mistake and refunded the wrong charges. Please be careful with this business.
