Milltown Drive In — Restaurant in Milltown

Very disappointed with the service. I called in our order and was told that the order would be ready in 12 minutes. I arrived at the drive inn at about this time. I checked in at the “order pickup” window and actually heard my order was just complete. Wonderful, not so fast. The young lady taking orders told me that I would need to get in the line for ordering, I explained that I had pre ordered and that I heard my order was ready. She continued to insist that I needed to get in the line for ordering as they only have one til for ordering and payment. There was a number of customers in the line at this time. Her final response was that maybe I should contact the owners and tell them to get a second til . After waiting for 20 minutes in line we finally were able to get our food. So much for pre ordering. This is the first time we've stop here usually we stop at Taylors Falls or Grantsburg. Have to say this was a good choice. I do like the car side service in Taylors Falls. But this could be our new favorite. This one had Friendly Employees, Great Strawberry Shakes, Good Onion Rings a little over done but good. We've been to both Grantsburg 2 Times once for food food was good service sucked and tables on the patio and the patio it self need to be cleaned I've seen picnic table in parks that are cleaner. And once for Strawberry Shakes shakes where good straws and service sucked and Milltown 1time in the past 3 weeks. Milltown wins hands down Food is good at both. Service is much better at Milltown and the Shakes are also better and Milltown had Real straws that you could drink the shakes through not little ones you would get in a drink at a Bar or Coffee House. If they had a negative rating this place would get one. I ordered a burger with no mustard on it took a bite and it had mustard took it to cashier said I ordered my burger with no mustard she said she would take care of it. 30 sec later she brought me a new burger or so I thought. Thinking they cooked it really fast when I looked to see if there was mustard on it I saw a bite mark outta the patty I brought it up to cashier and asked did u just wipe the mustard off and put a new bun on it she said yes if u want a new burger u have to wait 20 min. When u pay $70 for 4 people to eat please get the order right and if u get it wrong make it right not jus wipe sumthin off and try to pass it off Ive been coming here for over 20 years I'll never come back and I'm goin to tell everyone one I know to...
