The place is basically a restaurant. Nothing else. I know this bc i worked in the FOH restaurant biz for the first 5 yrs of my REAL work life. Ie. 18+. LSS. The Tuesday tacos are nothing great. At 3$ each after tax They are NOTHING MORE than a family toco. Not ditching in em negatively. This is my truth. The ONE PERSON IN KNOW WAY CAN HANDLE THE VOLUME OF TABLES to a successful degree. I know this as a Professional FOH staffer myself. Otherwise. The BT would have had the ability to address those "Waiting to be Served ". Never EVER BE CONSTANTLY LOOKING AWAY FROM THE CUSTOMER. THE FLOOR. THE BAR THE KITCHEN. AND...... ALWAYS BE GREETING EVERYONE ALL THE TIME. EVEN WHEN YOUR BUSY WITH ANY CURRENT DUTY. I leave 3 stars bc the place has alot of BIGGER GAINS TO BE HAD. CURRENTLY..I believe its being stifled by the ONE MAN SHOW. the owner NEEDS TO MAKE AN EXECUTIVE decision. More workers and out them on swing shifts. Make the wait time much less. (From what my visit was). The tables were somewhat busy. One BT just CAN NOT provide great service. Let alone Adequate service. Therefore, an additional wait staff needs to be available to sustain the demand. In that capacity, the other server would allow more patrons to experience the food amd the atmosphere. There by getting more people in the door. Thereby getting more volume. Unless the owner doesn't want that. I personally like Lines out the door. Demand is a huge marketing factor. Give me line ANY DAY. Amd ill show you a happy and Greatful OWNER.

We had an decent experience, although we were disappointed in the menu options. Pretty much simple sandwiches and flatbread pizza options. Nothing called out to us so we opted for the cheapest flatbread, the cheese one, and ordered a beer. We decided to order this because we didn’t want to leave the waitress hanging. The flatbread tasted fine, but you couldn’t really tell if it was made fresh or if it was frozen. Their beer selection wasn’t the most impressive either. Overall, we would try them again for breakfast. That food looked pretty good. But if you’re going to be a bar and grill, either step it up on some of the entree options, or just serve bar type food.

Taco Tuesday at Milton’s Lodge. Honey told our server, “That’s THE BEST taco salad I’ve ever had!” (apologies for missing the photo opp). I was late on the photo of the Beef Tacos (optional soft shell) but presentation of both orders were excellent. Refills on soft drinks, we had the lemonade. Broke the $20 date night budget but it was worth it. Honey remembered the place on the drive home as “great fish and chips” in years gone by. Fish and chips future is a hopeful TBD next time we’re on that stretch of road.

Today was the worst experience I have had at any pub I have ever been too. I wish I had read more of the reviews prior to my visit. I called ahead to make sure it was family friend. She confirmed that it was, so I was wrongfully expecting the same experience prior to new ownership and renovation. I would not consider it family friendly, I would say that children are allowed. There is nothing in there for kids at all. No games or high chairs.

I will preface with stating that it was just me and 3 children. 1 of which can be difficult to manage.

Very poor customer service. It took some time to get service for our drink orders and when we did I was told they do not have kids cups so I settled for some short glasses. It then took some time to flag her down for our food order. Then when she brought the food (all 3 kids had empty glasses) she did not ask about refills, just dropped food quickly and left. I spent the next 20 min trying to get her attention. And here is where I need to point out again that I was the only adult with my children and had 1 on my lap and could not go to bar rail to place drink orders or get my check. I finally resorted to just putting my card toward the end of the table so that she could at least see that since she never made eye contact. I had plans to place another food order since they couldn’t make pizza due to broken oven. But since it took so long I just gave up. When she asked if I wanted to close my tab I responded with “well yes, we haven’t had service for over 20 min and their glasses have sat empty for that amount of time”. She stormed off before I could finish my sentence. Not even an apology, just removed the charges for their drinks.

It truly felt like I was being ignored because I had kids with me. All we wanted was to have dinner as we were in the area and then make the drive home. She managed the bar well and was all smiles and hugs for those folks.

The nachos we ordered were pretty average for what you would expect from a...

I went there for the first time in about 35 years for my 60th birthday last year figured since it has been over 30 years sober and it was the 60th birthday might as well have a beer and a shot. I liked the place. But last night on my way home from visiting the old lady at Telecare, my truck wouldn't start and I was waiting for a tow truck and went up to the Milton Lodge to see about having some of that Seafood special and maybe a beer since my hips were hurting pretty bad. I wandered in drenched cuz it started raining sat down at a table waited about 10 minutes before the lady come over and asked me what I wanted I told her a Rainier and she said they were out of Rainier they had two light beers, so I said well what about fish and chips and she said they just ran out of fish and chips. It's 7:30 Friday night they're running a seafood special. So I said fine I'll take my business somewhere else I'm glad I didn't ask to use the bathroom I probably would have had the cops called On Me by the way I was being treated. I've had bad service in my life I know when I'm not wanted in an establishment. I won't be back. No matter how good your food is...
