Great Milwaukee grill pub. A special hidden gem in a hidden neighborhood between Miller Brewery and AmFam Field. Full of city workers, 1st responders, white collar, and blue collar workers. Great owners and staff. Absolutely great bar food. I've had pizza, multiple burgers, chicken sandwiches, and the biggest damn roast beef sandwich I've ever seen. Everything was awesome. The bar regularly gives back to the community to help out after tragic events. Support the Valley Inn because they are good people who run a good place. The pizzas are also amazing. Update: Again, this bar supports 1st responders and can't be thanked enough.

If you want to know what life was like before corporations took over everything, step back in time to the Valley Inn. The food was delicious and the cook, also waited on us. Nice neighborhood vibe, that I don’t see much anymore. My wife and I split an Italian beef so the cook prepared it on two separate plates, without any attitude like you get at a lot of restaurants.

Loaded with Miller employees. Located in the miller valley, this family bar has good food and a great atmosphere. Definitely a place worth returning to.

Sometimes when I'm on my way home from downtown, my instincts take over and my car automatically guides ourselves to Valley Inn in Pigsville. Don't ask me where it is. I cannot find Valley Inn in the daytime. It's somewhere under Wisconsin Avenue. You can't get there using any GPS or Google Maps. You only can get there on instinct and intuition. And once you do find it, you're in for a great evening with most down-to-earth and friendly locals Milwaukee has to offer. This is just a great, old school hometown bar somewhere north of Miller Park, but south of Harley-Davidson's Highland Avenue plant, a little west of the Domes, and east of Wauwatosa.

Find it. You'll be...

I'm so glad I finally checked out Valley Inn! I've universally heard good things about it and I can say everyone is right. I had lunch there today with some work colleagues. My NID Chicken Sandwich was delicious - the pretzel roll was toasted just right and the toppings were generous without being overwhelming. I relived a bit of my childhood with tater tots for my side - they were perfectly crispy. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we stayed and visited for a while. Our server very graciously kept our drinks refilled. I will...
