Big shout out to Jose'.... The Vera Cruz style tamale is a must-have! The volvano is as well. The menudo was tasty as well. It's definitely a hidden gem on South 27 and Lincoln. Well, worth the 20-mile trip! Enjoy the pictures! A must taste tamale 🫔 .

Delicious! First time rring volovanes. We got the ham and cheese, the crab, and the Nutella and cream cheese. All were so good. The breading is flaky and soft. I love their hot sauce too. It was sweet, creamy, and had a nice heat. Will be back again

Nice flaky pastries. First time visiting here. Although we've been to Milwaukee a few times. We had the ham and cheese, the crab, and the Nutella and cream cheese. All were good. Crab was my favorite. Will definitely visit again on the next trip.

Place its tiny and small. Just for pick up. Ladies working there are nice. Corn tamales are good. But each tamal is $4. Without and meat. So with meat im guessing its more. Their volovanes are good but didnt like their atole de nuez( took thick ).. will return for maybe a churro or agua fresca . Theres no sitting area, no parking, opens early like...
