Frequently go to Taqueria Portland for lunch at their SE 8th Ave location. Was very happy to hear they have a second location in Clackamas County.

We went for dinner after dark and parked in front. The building was a little intimidating when we arrived because it has no windows and appeared dark except for the signs; but don't let that fool you. Once you open the door you're ushered in by a light, bright and wide open welcoming atmosphere.

The salsa is the best salsa you'll have from any Mexican restaurants around. Not runny and not too chunky with the perfect amount of kick. The food is fresh, vibrant and full of flavor. Like the salsa you can't find a better taco salad around, it's the best! Also had enchiladas that were to die for, delicious sauce and flavorful seasoning.

The service is very friendly, attentive and on point. Periodically checking in at the right times and always making sure everything is fine.

They have a full bar and sounds like they have bigger things planned for this location. I'm sure this location is going to get busier as more people find it. Now that they have a location closer to home this will definitely be my go to restaurant...

Always top notch service and one of the cleanest restaurants in town. Whether we order food for pick-up or dine-in the food is fast, fresh and consistent. I ordered something different today, a chile relleno, which I order often other places. It was huge and NOT soggy in grease which is common. It was fresh and delicious. Their nachos, taco salad and enchiladas are also some of our favorites. We love their smokey style house salsa and their guacamole sauce. My boyfriend ordered a pina colada and I think that was the best one I have ever tried! We will continue our patronage, even if the loud commercials come over the speakers on occassion. There is plenty to talk about and enjoy to...

We finally stopped in a few months ago and have come back several times. The service is always great and the prices are super reasonable. We hosted a birthday party a few weeks back and they were fantastic! Somehow they kept everyone’s tabs correct and were very accommodating for a large group (about 25 people). We stopped in last night for happy hour and it didn’t disappoint. The margarita with Patron is fantastic! We’ve gotten several types of burritos before. Last night we tried a fish taco, shrimp taco, taco with asada and a huarache which we’d never had before and all...

The salsa was flavorless and honestly tasted like tap water, which is because I’m assuming they used copious amounts of it to make the batch. The tacos I ordered came in crispy shells, which I don’t recall seeing on the menu, and I’ve never ordered tacos at a Mexican restaurant where anything but soft corn or flour tortillas would be the standard. Very nice staff , but not worth the $20 for lunch and tip.
