Rollie's — Restaurant in Minden Township

Guys I'm really at a loss of words as to what happened to our group last night. Really unbelievable. We called you two days ago requesting a reservation because we had a group of 12 coming. You advised us that you couldn't offer a reservation because you had already given a group of 50 reservation of tables. You advised us to come early. I understood and so we did show up early as we had planned on having supper and watch live music. We arrived at 5pm like you recommended. There was lots of places to sit at that time. You took us to a table right next to the big group and even double checked to make sure that table was NOT reserved because we questioned the location of table. So after you confirmed it was ok for us to sit at the table we ordered supper and drinks. At 6pm your waitress came to our table and said sorry you have to move WHAT!!! WHY??? sorry we made a mistake she said. This table was reserved. Keep in mind now place is full and we ha e a group of 12. GUESS WHAT NO PLACE TO SIT. you offered us to sit in a row of bar stools by the dance floor. Wow thanks alot !! We had to leave. I am at a total loss of words as to what you did to us . We had half the group there excited to experience your restaurant and experience the atmosphere. What a experience we had. Won't come back ever again you guys absolutely suck!! I shouldn't have given the waitress a tip but we did because it wasn't her fault and how embarrassed she must have been since the MGR was a coward and made her tell us....

We have enjoyed going to Rollies’s since 2008. The food is great bar food with a bit of an old school diner vibe and selection. The bands are always fun! Dance floor is almost always packed. Drinks are great. Bartenders have never let us down. The atmosphere has always been fun. The outside decor (love the new steers) is always hilarious. What saddens me is that my experience and rating of the place is shared and echoed through tons of reviews, if you filter from new to old, and only started getting repetitive low reviews and ratings starting 2 weeks ago. It would seem to me that these reviews are not from people who even took time to step into the place and have a drink, but rather come from brainless followers who could turn the name of a teal crayon color into a baseless, emotional racial issue. These people should have to produce receipts that they in fact ordered anything from this business and if they cannot should be banned from reviews and including in that defamation lawsuit. Shame on you all. Rollie’s is a fun time. I’ve been there at 20 times and every time has been a safe and fun experience that was worth driving away from the St Cloud...

UPDATE 3/19/25. originally I had a 5 star review, had take out pizza here and a sandwich another time. So today a friend and i decided to come for the lunchtime pizza and wings buffet, it was straight up awful, I'm a pizza lover and couldn't even do a 2nd piece, wings were greasy and bland. Service was non existent, we helped ourselves but what got me was online it was $13.50 which is very high for what they had put out, but when we did get a check, we were charged $15.70 why can't these places update their prices when they change them. I thought it was worth nothing so when our bill was $40.02 for 2 buffets and 2 fountain pops i was pissed, not just that, but never were we asked, " how was everything, or anything else?" Nope just an unreasonable bill and shitty service. This was my original review Ordered a large pepperoni and beef, thick crust, I wanted it well done but not burnt. This pizza was so good and so filling, I was very happy. Called half hour b4 kitchen closed on Sunday evening, and we made the right choice! Was a little spendy but...
