I had the Mexican Burrito. While it was good, It lacked the pizzazz that I'm used to when eating Mexican food. The food was under seasoned. The queso blanco was just bland. The salsa's were over the top, though. You deffintiley get your moneys worth. They used actual crema and not just watered down sour cream like a lot of places. (There is a subtle difference in taste, and if you know what it is, you can pick it out) the pico was fresh and handmade that day (no store bought leftover pico) all the ingredients were fresh. I don't recall my servers name, but she was great. My tea glass was always full. I know they just opened, but there were Litteraly no decorations on the wall :( they were just bare seafoam green (inside). They had an English country station playing music. I have nothing against it ( I enjoyed the music). It's just kind of unusual to hear an English country music station in a restaurant serving Mexican food. You automatically expect to hear a Spanish language station. The outside is a charming little lake cottage style building. Nice cobble stone running about ¼ of the way up like a wainscoting. White washed stucco above and washed-out/sun faded paint and wood detailing.

What a nice addition to the Lake Fork area. Started with chip & salsa, with a side of queso. Yum, yum. Just love the green salsa...has a nice kick at the end. As for the queso, do yourself a favor and get the bowl vs the cup. Very tasty!!! Definitely recommend you give Jhonny's a try. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to give the shrimp & brisket tacos a try.

The food was excellent! Service was ok, but she never brought us the extra napkins we asked for, and the club soda I ordered. She never apologized for that when she brought us the check. The inside of the restaurant is very plain and basic, no appealing decor. Would go back for the food, but would ask for a more efficient server.

We went here for the first time on Friday around 3 before a rush. We were seated at a dirty table. When we asked the waitress to clean our table, her response was that we should have waited to be seated. Which we did! She asked who seated us. We told her who did and she told us that today was the hostess first day. She came back to the table with vhips and salsa and said that she wasn't trying to upset us. My husband and I both responded that she did upset us. She said, "I don't have to wait on ya'll. In fact, I am not going to wait on ya'll as she walked away from the table. My husband and I walked out. I phoned the restaurant after we left to speak to the owner. She was the one that answered the phone and responded that he was not there. I asked when he would be there. Not until Monday. I find it very hard to believe the owner would not be there on a weekend. We will NOT ever step...

Food is not that good but Its the happy hour you need to watch out for They say happy hour 11-5 but what you don’t know is happy hour discount is only 10 percent and they don’t advice customers of that and they don’t tell you what’s on there happy hour service So if you are on a budget an order for example a beerarita 14.99 each there not on happy hour and even if they where it’s only 10 percent Now I don’t have a problem with the high price but I do feel they shouldn’t mislead...
