Keys Place Burgers And BBQ — Restaurant in Mineral Wells

If you're in the Mineral Wells area you have to eat here! We stopped off as we were passing through coming back from a vacation weekend. As we always do, we checked the reviews to see what food in the area was good to eat. Since we were travelling with our dogs we wanted some place that was good, but also had outdoor seating to allow us to keep and eye on our pets.

The service was super friendly and the food was awesome! Two of us had the mushroom swiss burgers and couldn't believe how flavorful it was! The onion rings are made fresh (not frozen batter junk) and are a must have. Hubby had a bacon cheese burger and just kept making happy moaning sounds as he ate. Kids burgers were priced well and just as tasty as the other burgers. Fries were crinkle cut fries and pretty good too.

We're not from around there, but the owner sure makes you feel right at home real quick. My husband is a veteran and they asked if any of us were military, veteran or first responders, I told them my husband was and they said, "Well his drink is free!".

I'd give 10 stars if possible just for the service and integrity of the sweet staff. My sister and I were in awe of how the young lady went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

I had been wanting to eat here for years but just never found the time until my sister visited from east TX. Boy was it worth the wait. The chicken fried steak was wonderful, and as stated the sweet young lady ( wish I'd gotten her NAME!! ) who waited on us really brightened our day! There was a very minor mix up with our order, we weren't even aware of it. But she came out and told us it would be a while longer and brought complimentary cookies. We thought she MUST be an owner because of her incredible attitude but when my sister asked she said no. So she was just an OUTSTANDING employee, which is rare, and very refreshing these days!

Needless to say that I very highly recommend this restaurant. The menu has just about anything you could want and it all looks just as yummy as our cfs tasted.. . We will be going back again next time my sis...

Update... they're needs to be a place on Google to give a plus or a 6th star. After trying half the menu, this has become my go to. Love everything about this place.

Not many places get all 5s from me. But shut the front door!! Burgers...best in town possibly top 5 anywhere Onion rings...best in town. OMG!!! Catfish!!! What the WHAT!! The chilli on the burgers 👍👍 whatever that secret sauce is ... the best version of a bigmac if ever tried. Did I mention those onion rings. Top two or three best onion rings I've had anywhere (and I've had ALOT) Nothing fancy, no frills one of those side of the road, wouldn't imagine there was some of the best burgers fries n onion rings in there. I think I may have found my go to while in town the next couple years. Whoever runs this diner, you're doing it right. Those two kids running the counter are really good at what they do.
