Montys BBQ — Restaurant in Minot

Started out the day working out in the cold and we were feeling the itch for a hot and hearty meal. Let me tell you what Monty’s BBQ delivered. Don’t let the appearance fool you. It may be a food truck but this food is so high quality it might as well be a 5 star restaurant in the heart of Austin. The true-to-style Texas BBQ flavors made me feel as if I was sitting by the chuck wagon after a day of driving a herd of longhorns under the open prairie skies. The brisket burritos can only be described as stellar. Monty’s brings staggering bbq flavor into a perfect marriage with a classic southwest influence to create the best burrito this side of the Mississippi. I couldn’t help but go back for more and that was the best choice of my life second only to leaving my third wife for a hooters girl back in ‘03. Everyone who knows bbq knows that the true measure of a smoker’s skills is the pulled pork sandwich and let me tell you what. The pulled pork sandwich plum knocked the boots right off me. I had to go buy a shirt two sizes up I was so full but that didn’t stop me from housing the whole thing. If I could marry Monty I would just to get that kind of cooking every night. Heck of a bbq joint. Even reached out to all my ex wives to recommend this...

This was like Locating Wakanda, it was wow once i arrived. Flavors and amazing quality.

The BBQ smell and feel was top notch. It's been a long time since great BBQ has been tasted. It's neat tasting different regions of BBQ.

It's an adventure for sure. Explore the outskirts of the northern realm, basically nothing is bad on the menu.

If you can't taste or smell these Majestic flavors, then that's a sign of covid.

That's why it gets 5 star Michelin chef award.

Best BBQ than any of these chain restaurants that enter any country...

I haven't had good homemade BBQ since I lived in OK. It was delicious and they obviously love what they do. Kinda sad I didnt know about this place sooner. I got the sausage sandwich with everything (highly recommend) and my honey got the 1/2 lb pulled pork sandwich with everything. Both were delicious and the burnt ends were damn near perfection. The mac was cheesy and warm and the potato salad was heavy on mustard and a nice refreshing twist to the meat. Unfortunately they were out of cole slaw but I can't wait to try it next...
