I have been looking forward to trying bojangles for a long time, as we don't have them up north. While traveling to Texas, I got the opportunity to stop here finally, and it was by far a TOTAL disappointment! Nothing short of DISGUSTING food! The chicken might have been good if it wasn't so soggy, like it was soaked in dish water before being put in a bag! Not even exaggerating with this. The biscuit was completely inedible, just a hard and dry piece of cardboard. Couldn't even get that down with water added. I don't like to leave bad reviews unless something was extraordinarily wrong. My dog wouldn't even eat this garbage! It got thrown in the trash at the next rest stop. I would have gone back to get a refund had I not already been down the road in Louisiana. There is nothing I can say that was good about this visit. After this experience, I doubt I will return to any bojangles at all. There's far better food...
Read moreThis might be a good place for someone who’s not familiar with Bojangles, but I grew up in NC and know what it’s supposed to taste like and it’s nothing like the original ones where I’m from. The “chicken tenders” are actually supposed to be “chicken supremes” and have a thin layer of breading and very tasty. These have so much breading on them it’s like you have no chicken and all breading. Nothing like Bojangles should be. The biscuits are usually on point but these taste like you’re eating dough and it was hard like it had been sitting there all day, same with the fries, they were cold and stale.. I can’t describe just how disappointed I am because I was over the moon excited that my favorite place to eat from my hometown was actually opening here! I may try one more time to see if it’s just growing pains… but as of now,...
Read moreLet me start off with saying the food and the freshness is great. However the consistency is terrible if you order the grilled chicken club they don’t add the cheese and bacon that they charged you $1.60 extra for and when you bring it to their attention saying hey yall forgot the bacon and cheese they get super defensive and start with it not t our fault and all I am saying is “it’s attention to detail it doesn’t matter who’s fault it is it’s not the end of the world I just wanna bring it to the managers attention so the can reiterate the fine details” but until the workers and managers learn to accept correction they will not improve. Hopefully management sees this and helps the workers understand the menu a...
