Bernie is hands down the best in service. He takes pride in everything he does. From food recommendations, to getting to know his guest. He pays attention to the small details and you can clearly see it’s more than a “job” for him. He truly finds joy in creating the best experience for whoever sits at his table. He makes going out to eat more than just a meal but as if you’re catching up with an old friend or family member you haven’t seen in a while. Apart from Bernie the rest of the staff was spectacular. My drink never made it to empty before someone was there ready to give me a fresh one. We even had the lobster expert come show us all the hidden spots to find lobster meat in places we never would’ve thought of. You could clearly tell he had a love for lobster but also the guest he was educating. He was enthusiastic, informative and most importantly cared about giving us the best experience he could give. We didn’t have reservations and called an hr before the restaurant opened and the person who answered the phone made it possible for us to get a last minute spot and at a corner window seat at that!! This was my second time here and will def be back to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. Last year we went for my wife’s birthday. We’ve made it a yearly tradition to go and celebrate the big moments in our life. I mentioned to Bernie that I had just received a promotion to a management position and before I could get another word out he had disappeared to come back with a sparkler in a glass and sang us a congratulation song! Truly made us feel special on top of remembering who we were from a year ago!! This is one of my favorite places to come and celebrate. Also must also say was great experience once again and honestly extremely surprised with customer service This time ordered a steam and it was over cooked but was still excellent. Server asked and I told her but told her it was still great so no need to worry. She told the manager and he came to visit and asked what he could do. I said nothing although over cooked was still excellent and offered me a dessert which he really didn’t have to do so got It to go and btw the chocolate cake OMG good
Well when waitress brought the bill she gave me another surprised that I definitely didn’t expect she told me the manager comp my steak. What a surprise but told waitress guess she won’t get as big of tip now that price is lower and we laughed. Needless I still tipped with the steak value added in
I must say very impressed yet again and might I add well worth it.

Originally they wanted to find out why I commented that they were "over rated" to my friend but, after our conversation continued on they become pretty butt hurt. Since then they have deleted my comments and blocked me from their Facebook page. My review is based on my last visit right before they were flooded about 5 years ago.
So, in my line of work before and now I've always traveled all over the US and get to try local cuisine. So, my first time to your establishment several years ago I thought the food and service was decent. Nothing to brag about compared to other places I have been to before. Some of the food was bland and some of the food was overly salty. I'm not sure if someone in the back actually taste the food before it goes out or just hopes that it taste right before it gets to the table. For the price of the food I would hope that someone actually does taste the food before it is sent to the table but, that wasn't the case the couple of times I have been there. Also even though it seems to be more of a low key or friendly type of service but, for what I'm paying I would hope my server comes by the table every couple of minutes to check on us and also refill our drinks. There was times where we had to flag someone down to refill our drinks. Top notch services and pricing should deem that our server would notice if our drinks were half full or almost empty that they would come and refill it.
