Mudbugs 047 — Restaurant in Mississippi

I looked at the reviews before I decided to eat here, and figured that twenty something reviews rating it almost 5 stars meant that it was a good place to eat. Boy was I wrong.

My brother ordered 2lbs of crawfish. He got it pretty quickly, maybe 5 minutes or less. I ordered 2lbs of boiled shrimp for my mother and me. I waited for about twenty minutes, no shrimp. I went up to the order window and politely asked where my order was, and they told me it would be out any minute. I waited another ten minutes and they finally brought out my order.

The food was quite possibly the worst crawfish and shrimp I have ever had. The crawfish was horribly undercooked and extremely salty. The boiled shrimp that I finally got to eat was so salty that I couldn't eat more than a few without throwing up. Imagine walking into the ocean with a piece of unseasoned shrimp in your mouth, and let the saltwater flood your mouth. I feel like I need to eat a loaf of bread just to counteract the horrible salty shrimp.

Then there was the staff service. I have seen DMV workers with a better attitude. I would have been okay with their crappy attitudes if the food was decent. We were still trying to salvage some of our $40 around 10:05 P.M. The staff began loudly moving tables around and glaring at us like they wanted us to leave, even though they didn't close until 11:00 P.M. I have worked in the food industry, and no matter how horrible my day was, I never let my attitude affect my conduct toward my customers.

I wish I could give this restaurant a 0, but the app won't let me. I recommend taking your family here to eat if you don't mind driving them to the hospital to treat high blood pressure and food poisoning. I don't know where these 5 star ratings are coming from. The writers must have been wasted when...

My girlfriend and I are patrons of both mudbugs locations, located in Brandon and flowood on a weekend basis. I have never had such excellent service as we had. The service in which I had this afternoon at the flowood location on old Fannin.

We typically get the same thing no matter the location, 10# crawfish a few sides and some adult beverages. Well the girlfriend decided to add crab legs. Well me coming seafood myself I understand the process throughly.

Her crab legs were a whole ass fight to get meat out of (she could literally only get whole chunks from the knuckles). I saw a gentleman (Paul) and told him what was happening with the legs not thinking much of it as they was busy. Well a few mins later he said give me a few they are making some fresh ones.

After a little bit he brought her out three clusters, that was far better than the previous legs and actually edible. Paul ( brother in law) come to find out this is superior customer service and I truly appreciate it.

Lastly I had inquired about pours per pitcher, because the Brandon establishment apparently pours more per pitcher versus flowood. Once again thinking nothing of it. I went to wash my hands and clean up, and Paul the brother in law gave me another beer to make up...

We had a really long wait yesterday Sunday at Mudbugs and I just think 699 a pound is pretty steep for Mudbugs also I had the picture of Shock Top beer was very good service was good we had to wait about 45 minutes to get a table and about 30 minutes just to get our order in and pay for it. Other than that it was clean well-kept plenty of food on him lots of craft beers and domestic beers to choose from many on draft and many in the bottle. They also had a lot of TVs here for you to watch your sports of any kind. I don't think they show UFC fighting but all the rest of it you can see their with great views from many many many other tables. There's also only for tables outside when there's room for many more I think that could show that could be fixed accommodate more guests. The parking...
