Subway — Restaurant in Mississippi

I typically do not like making bad reviews, but I think I should for this.. I went to get two sandwiches, and was asked by a girl named nilyah if we wanted toasted or regular bread. When we said toasted- they took out “toasted bread” from the cart. Perhaps they pre toasted but that meant it was all stale and cold… defeats the purpose. When asked what cheese, we said pepper jack and while one got pepper jack, the other was just regular American cheese. They made one sandwich completely wrong and instead of making a new sandwich, they just took the meat off, and put new meat and stuff on- then told us if we would burn the bread if we wanted it retoasted. We asked why we couldn’t get new bread and she said she didn’t want to waste the bread… we should have walked out but after a long road trip, we were just hungry. Afterwards, little things like no drinks were good and all flat- sweet tea was unsweetened, my sandwich was stale and my cheese wasn’t melted and it was all cold. (so it was not toasted…). I understand this is just a fast food restaurant, but we paid $25 for two stale cold sandwiches that we specifically asked to be toasted. And reusing the same bread that you messed up on was honestly...

I came in and got in line. There was a young man in front of me that was getting his sandwich made. I had been waiting in line for about 5-10 minutes then an online order rang in on the POS. The young lady working proceeded to make the online order in front of me while I had been waiting in line for 5-10 mins before the online order even rang in. Finally after the online order was made she began to make mine and per usual, they were out of multiple veggies- normally including banana peppers and jalapeños. I understand if the truck didn’t bring the food or is coming the next day, but this store simply just doesn’t prep anything once they run out on the line, and this is not an assumption because as I was being rang up I could see an entire box of banana peppers on the bottom shelf in the back. Pure laziness, it takes all of 5 minutes to drain the juice off the banana peppers and put them in the dish and then on the line. Tonight around 7:00. My husband stopped to pick up a sandwich for us for supper. There was one young man, a 9th grader from McClaurin that was the only employee there. The store was very busy and this young gentleman was working extremely hard. He was completing order accurately, without complaining, all while trying to maintain curtious, friendly conversation with the patrons.
