Decided to try The Blue Cat Lounge for breakfast. Will never go again!! Bloody Mary was mediocre; the olive in it was inedible. Pineapple mimosa was great but I’m not sure how anyone could mess that up. He ordered an omelet with cheese, ham, sausage, and mushroom. For a 3 egg omelet with just cheese, it’s $14 then add $1 each for each meat, and the mushrooms. (Previous owners charged $7.99 for omelet then $0.39 for each extra ingredient.) A total ripoff for $17…maybe had 2 sliced mushrooms in it and they just slapped a partially melted slice of American cheese on top. I ordered the breakfast bowl, which the menu said had two eggs, a biscuit, SEASONED CUBED POTATOES, and gravy for the cost of $16! Waitress says “We’re out of tator tots. Are French fries okay?” Well, I guess they ran out of the cubed potatoes, then ran out of tator tots, so only had fries. Eggs were a glob, not scrambled. Gravy tasted like pure flour. Fries were not hot. Was still $16 and was worth maybe $5. We could’ve eaten a much better meal at Rooster for less than the $48.90 we spent here. Waitress brought food, but no silverware. Zero condiments on the table so I had to go hunt her down and ask for salt, pepper, and jelly. She brought us a condiment caddy. No jelly in caddy so once again I had to get up and hunt her down for jelly. Left a decent tip but really felt I should’ve received that tip. Docks had no cleats and rubber was falling off in every single one. They have 5 areas with cleats and decent rubber for boats needing gas; asked if using one was allowed and was told no. One, there was a pontoon parked in one so that left us confused. Two, we saw one single boat get gas the entire time we were there. If you are going to charge those prices for food, the quality of the food and the maintenance of your docks should reflect that!! I wish I'd taken pictures of everything, but the pure shock...
Read moreI will be back a 2nd time to make sure I grab photos, as I was starving and didn’t have time to grab photos before the food was gone.
I took my family to the Blue Cat for dinner and we were more then impressed. Food ordered included: Catfish, Lobster Roll, Ruben, Smash Burger, Chicken Sandwich, Chicken wings and Fried Green Beans.
The catfish is amazing and would highly recommend. The lobster roll is bigger then your head and amazing. Wings are super crispy and moist, and the fired green beans were A++. Their house chips are amazing, and we’re enjoyed by all.
Highly recommend. Plenty of slips if you want to boat in, or a simple drive down to the end of HH.
Update #1
Made it back with just my wife for a Saturday night dinner. The Blue Cat was hopping. They had live music at the pool and everyone was enjoying the evening.
Food was just as good as the first time, but I made sure to grab...

These people are not willing to make things right with customer when they don't provide the right service and even more! The women behind the counter was very much rude and cares only about taking your money!! she didn't even bother to talk to us..! the boat was already in broken condition..we hardly went a mile away and we realized the seats...
