We have driven by this place countless times since we moved here in 2022, but it was always so busy and we are not huge fans of crowds. We showed up late for dinner to avoid this at 7:45 and it mitigated this significantly.

Nearly all of my feedback here is positive, starting with the appetizer. The wings here are, no BS, if not the best then damn close to the best I have ever had in my life. They were absolutely delicious, and all of our entrees were exceptional comfort food x 1000. Both my wife and I had the horseshoe and it is a massive helping of food customizable to your preferences. Both the chicken fried steak and pulled pork were exceptional.

Our server was a total sweetheart and took care of us well. Even at 7:45 the place was still busy and she took it all in stride. She earned her 25%.

Atmosphere is rustic and rowdy, and when we first got there it was very loud requiring a lean in to talk to people across the table, though this mellowed out as the dinner rush subsided. We went to The Branding Iron Restaurant & Saloon on our yearly vacation to the Ozarks. This is our usual stop of restaurants and let me tell you we were not impressed at all! Our waitress sat us at a small table (9 of us) the accommodation’s were tight, I didn’t say anything because the waitress that was sitting us was not pleasant in previous years, the atmosphere was loud (really loud). There was a group of older gentlemen having a great time drinking and just being loud, which was fine except we were not drinking and we wanted a nice quiet dinner with the family. I asked the waitress if we could please move to another table because they were too loud, she rolled her eyes at me and said I guess. Really that was rude! After we moved the waitress in question told the group of gentlemen we moved because you were loud! We will never be back, and I will tell anyone not to go there.
