Bulldog's Beach House — Restaurant in Missouri

During our visit to this restaurant, we were initially impressed by the youthful energy of the staff member assisting with boat docking. However, our enthusiasm quickly changed as we were seated in an unattractive area beneath the restaurant deck, near the restrooms, with no view of the establishment. Despite being a party of six, we were surprised by the cramped quarters, assuming it was a smaller venue.

Opting for the house specialty, the "Stuffed burgers", we were disappointed to find them severely overcooked, with the filling practically nonexistent! The meat tasted suspect, possibly past its prime. Even after the server double-checked one guest's burger toppings, they still managed to forget his order entirely. When suggested the slider version of his burger as a replacement, the suggested slider took an unexpectedly long 15 minutes to arrive, and it was presented unappealingly on a store-bought brown and serve roll, in a fry basket.

Overall, our experience left much to be desired, and we believe the establishment should reassess its standards before labeling itself as a restaurant.

"1 star all the way"...

The server messed up my order and brought two of the quesadillas. We ordered one. He messed up both orders. Was not very nice and never apologized. Never came back to check on us. I could not even eat the other one because it was so spicy. I asked for just the chicken and cheese. The other one had it right but with jalapeños and I can’t eat spicy food . Even taking the jalapeños off still spicy and it was terrible. My mouth was on fire. I was not to happy. It wasn’t even that busy. The rest of my Family’s food was fine. I’ll...

Fun atmosphere! Very cute inside! Most weekend nights they have a live band! Lots of outdoor seating. Come by boat, car, or walk from red oaks resort! Friendly fast service is also a plus. You must try the pain in the @ss with a floater! We always start with the pretzels! I recommend the corn fritters or the fried pickles too! For an entree I always get the chicken sandwich, either blackened or jerked. And always get the seasoned fries! Yum! Decently priced good food. Can’t wait...
