Papa Chubby's Food & Booze — Restaurant in Missouri

INCREDIBLY BAD. Been to PC many times. Tonight was maybe the worst experience I’ve had at this restaurant or any other. Our server told us when we sat down if we wanted pizza it would be 40 min, no big deal. At about 40 min, right on time, she shows up with a pizza. Problem is, it’s not ours. We identified it quickly and sent it on its way to the proper table. At about the 75 minute mark we see what looks like it could be our pizza being delivered to another table, who begin eating it immediately. We can read their lips that it’s wrong, but they don’t seem to care. At the 90 minute mark our waitress stops by our table and we ask her to check on our pizza. She blabbers about a “lot of take out orders” but says she will check. She comes back 5 minutes later and says she doesn’t know what happened to our pizza. (She later admitted she gave it to the wrong table a half hour previous) but if we want to order sandwiches or salads they can be made sooner. If we want pizza it will be another hour wait! When we ask why can’t they put us at the front of the line for pizza, she said she asked the owner who said no, offer them the chance to order something else. This place has a boat dock to park at. It is open seating. They have indoor and outdoor seating including an indoor and outdoor bar. There is a small beach area. We ordered a pitcher of beer for everyone. We also ordered the Hawaiian pizza. It is cut into large squares so it perfectly feeds 2 people. It was good, but the cheese was unevenly distributed and not super melted. It came out way before the other food which was interesting. We also ordered the steak sandwich (which was chewy and tough), the fish bites (which were good), the Italian beef sandwich (which had a small amount of meat, and did not have au jus, just oil), and the Chicago hot dog which was rubbery, including the hot dog and the bun, so it was inedible. The place was not busy but it was hard to get service from our waitress. She would walk by and look at us but not say anything. We had to flag her down for the bill. She asked how everything was and we told her about the inedible hot dog and she said, "Oh, I'm sorry about that" in a very monotone voice at the same time she swiped the credit card on their tablet device. How ironic. The atmosphere is pretty cool, but the food was so-so. The best thing was the pizza. Overall, we will not be returning here, as there are many other lakeside places...

Been there several times over the last couple years both good and bad experiences but this last visit was just terrible , party of 8 we ordered 6 different appetizers and it took 1 hr to get them then ordered 3 pizzas and 1 sandwich… after an hour of waiting we approached the Mgr/Bartender and her first response was well your order was just put in at 820 pm this wss at 920 pm like we’re supposed to expect an hour of waiting, she then asked very sarcastically do you want to come back and see our kitchen and staff?! I mean who does that??!’ I felt bad for our server she kept apologizing over and over as we had to wait on buckets of beers and frozen drinks and they weren’t even that busy ….. we’ve been there when it’s been a lot busier and not waited as long,just very unprofessional to immediately respond to a customer this way ….
