Iâve got to share our experience at Paradise because it turned out to be quite the disappointment. My friends and I, a group of six, were eager for a fun Saturday night, especially after checking their posted hoursâ11 PM, perfect!
We rolled up around 9:30 PM, excited for drinks and good vibes. After walking down the long stairs, we were met with a blue plywood door/blockadeâno sign, nothing indicating they were closed. We stood there confused, wondering if we had accidentally walked into a scavenger hunt.
Just as we were trying to figure out what was going on, we spotted an employee making her exit in her car, leaving us scratching our heads even more. If we had seen her before climbing down the stairs, it wouldâve saved us some confusion!
Since we didnât find any sign of life at Paradise, we decided to head back to our place instead. No big deal, thoughâwe ended up having a blast playing cards and just hanging out.
But honestly, sticking close to your advertised hours would have made for a much better experience. A simple âClosedâ sign would have gone a long way! Hereâs hoping Paradise gets it together because we were really looking forward to a...
Read moreOur visit last Saturday to Paradise tropical restaurant and bar at Lake of the Ozarks, was an unforgettable experience. The lake ambiance and the outstanding music by Keegan Boone Bryan set the perfect tone for a relaxing evening. Our waitress, Mariah B, was exceptional, showcasing her remarkable skills and deep knowledge of the menu. She recommended I try the French dip sandwich, which turned out to be a culinary delight. The thinly sliced roast beef was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Each bite melted in my mouth, a testament to the quality and care put into the preparation. Accompanying the sandwich was a rich, savory au jus. This flavorful broth was the soul of the dish, enhancing the beef's natural flavors and adding a depth that was simply divine. A quick dip transformed each bite into a mouthwatering experience, the warm liquid melding perfectly with the sandwich. The Restaurant itself added to the magic of the meal. Mariah's attentive and friendly service ensured we had everything we needed, making our visit to Paradise truly memorable. We can't wait to return, thanks to Mariah's outstanding hospitality and the...
Read moreI called 2 and a half weeks before my birthday gathering to make a reservation for 11 of us. They asked if we wanted to sit inside or out, I said out. They asked for a name, time and date and I gave it to them. The day comes, I call them an hour before we show up for our reservation to let them know we no longer had 11 people there would be 9 and we would be there soon. We get to the restaurant I walk up to the host stand and give them my name and they tell me they don't have my party down, AT ALL. I explain to the host I called over 2 weeks ago to make the reservation and the just an hour ago I called again. She was rude and dismissive and tells me if we want to sit outside it's going to be an hour wait. Reluctantly I say we can sit inside, because at this point we're all hungry and frustrated. We get sat and our waitress was friendly. I asked for a drink in a pineapple which they have advertised ALL OVER in store and online and she says they don't have pineapples tonight. The drink in a pineapple and being able to sit outside was the main reason I wanted to come here. Food was fine but the rest of the experience...
