Shirley's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Missouri

We were at Fastlane and decided to try Shirley's on a whim. A little intimidating from the parking lot but what the heck. There were only a couple customers at the bar. Ashley was our friendly, smiling waitress. We ordered the trash wings at Ashley's suggestion. Also, chili, BLT & fries, burger, chicken noodle soup. We were pleasantly surprised! Everything was delicious. The BLT was about 3" thick. Trash wings were great. Fresh brewed tea, soda in cans. The manager/chef(??) came out to see how everything was. Very nice place, friendly bar tender. Drinks are ok. Best way for professional and new bird to enjoy/learn poker. It cost only $5 on Tuesdays and Wednesday to play. And if you are lucky enough then you double up your money(no you can’t win the whole pot… as some money goes in the pocket of the owner for taking risk and play in a bar than casino). No offense to Shirley's but this is a great dive bar. No pretense to the interior and the menu seems custom tailored to alcohol consumption. While Covid is raging I personally wouldn't go near the place but younger folks and those maskless renegades who believe themselves and older relatives to be ten feet tall and bulletproof can't help but appreciate this place.
