I would feel better being robbed than wasting money here. It wasn't my choice to stop here, and I normally don't leave reviews for places that I didn't choose to go to, but the food here was so spectacularly bad that I have to say something. Right off the bat I knew it wouldn't be good, the menu is way to big for a place that only has a few people in it at a time. I ordered an enchilada figuring it was one of the cheaper options so I wouldnt be wasting money on food I could already tell I won't like. I have no idea what they gave me, instead of enchilada sauce it was covered in watery beans. Like super watery, there's a puddle of water underneath everything. I can understand having frozen food for the entrees, but is it really too much to have fresh rice and beans? They leave salt and hot sauce out on the table so patrons can add their own flavor I guess, becasue there certainly wasn't any flavor to be found anywhere on the plate they gave me. I feel like it takes a special amount of effort to actually make Mexican food be that flavorless. Then they have to gal to ask if everything tastes okay, like they really don't know they're serving watery slop on a plate. It must be nice to own a resteraunt and put in the bare minimum amount of effort becasue their patrons either are tourists that wont be coming back anyway, or locals with no other place to go. Don't even get me started on the price, I'd rather throw 20 dollers on the street than pay for anything here. Literally every other Mexican place I've eaten at is better than this, and they don't even have the balls to charge 18 dollers a meal. Again, it wasn't my idea to come here and the people I came with aren't nearly as picky as me, but I feel offended on their behalf for paying an obscene amount of money for something I wouldn't even feed me dogs. If you're considering stopping here for food, take my advice and just...
Read moreIf you want something other than Authentic Mexican food, you've come to the right place. We ordered what we thought was safe, easy to prepare, even taco bell gets something right, don't they??? Nacho's, kids quesadilla and carne asada burrito.
Their Nachos had huge chunks of marinaded carrots on them, some weird white beans. Definitely not your run of the mill Nachos. Kids quesadilla had fries on the side.. my Granddaughter didn't like the cheese used for the quesadilla. I ordered carne asada burrito, enchilada style (on the menu not more than $8) The actual meat was very overcooked, very tuff, had little to no flavor. The side of beans and rice. Rice wasn't bad, but the color was way way off, the beans were very runny. This meal ended up being 14.99, I was not informed of an up charge when wait staff asked if I wanted rice and bean.. I said sure whatever comes with it.. my bad. If you've Never had "Real Authentic Hispanic Food" you'd be fine eating here.. but if you know the difference, don't waste $40 on something I wouldn't take the leftovers home for...
Read moreWe didn't finish 2 untouched quesadillas and they took it away literally in seconds when I left the table to pay at the counter. They didn't even offer a box.
They've heard we speak a foreign language and asked where we're from. I said we're from Ukraine and the waiter asked "Is it russia?". I don't know if he's just stupid and didn't go to school, or he just supports russia in their terrible war, but we immediately didn't feel comfortable. Likely my parents don't speak English and couldn't understand him but I had a terrible feeling about all of this as a person who lost a home and relatives in this war.
Regarding the food. I know locals don't have many options and will come to this place anyway, but if you're visiting my advice look for other places to eat, the food is very average too and doesn't even look good.
And yes, they forgot to bring churros and side rice but didn't forget to include it...
