We took my dad out for a birthday breakfast (this is one of his favorite places to eat) and it was my first time here. I have to say, first of all they were very busy, and the building is small both inside and out...but DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE BY WITHOUT STOPPING IN! We had a fairly large group, 10 of us in total, and while I believe my brother did call ahead, they accommodated our group (7 adults, 1 teen, 2 toddlers) graciously! The food was great, and the portions were large enough that the teenage boy couldn't finish his stack of pancakes! On top of all that, we had the best service i have experienced at a restaurant in quite some time! Not only was our waitress friendly (AND incredibly patient even though she was swamped!!) but the entire small staff made us feel completely welcomed. The entire experience felt more like we were having breakfast at an old friends house and not at a restaurant. Simply amazing. Now I know why my dad likes it...

Visited on Memorial Day 2021 around 0900. My accompanying friend said that the restaurant was under new owner/management. We have been coming here for a few years and thought the food was pretty good, but now its even better. I ordered the Monterey Omelette which has seasoned ground beef with onions, green peppers, mushrooms and cheese. The ground beef was lean and flavorful without being overly salty. As we ate, the restaurant filled up quickly, but the lone server was able to keep her composure and maintain a friendly demeanor as she efficiently gathered each table order. We thoroughly enjoyed watching her proficiency almost as much as we savored our meal. As business continues, I'd advise adding one more server to give that amazing gal a little help during peak hours, add a few original/unexpected selections to the menu and upgrade the decor. We'll...
