Mike's Place — Restaurant in Monroe Township

I have heard about this place for a while so my husband and I decided to try it this evening, hoping we would find a new place to eat. Unfortunately not the case. Food was good however we got VERY little dressing with salads and waitress told us to let her her know if we need more which we did. Then we got charged $2 extra!!!!She never said we would be charged then after she served our food she never came back to check on us once. We never got a refill on our drinks. Then when we went to pay the owner was on the phone, never said one word to us as we left, came off very rude. Looks like we will be sticking to Road Kill Cafe- much more friendly...

Mike’s place is never constant with what they make, it’s either they get the order wrong or your order will be perfectly but they forget to add something goes with the dish like for hot wings it would be the sauce that goes with it. A lot of the times I ordered from the store to pick up, it was always wrong like recently I ordered boneless hot wings and got ones with bones in, and i ordered a Mac Attack one of the signature burgers they make without any coleslaw and they put the coleslaw on the burger. Great, hearty, homemade food at a fair price. I have ate at Mike’s Place countless times and explored the menu. Everything that I have ever ordered has been a hearty portion and great tasting! I have never had a bad experience there. Always good service and a good, family atmosphere. Very clean and tidy establishment with spotless dishes and silverware. I will definitely be back soon!
