The facility itself is quite nice and rather picturesque. That's about where the positives end. This place is near just about nothing, so plan on a drive. That also wasn't too bad. We started by placing our order, which was done by check sheet at the bar. The individual manning the bar gave a treatment as though we were annoying him by placing our order. We had a reservation for 630, and we were there just before. I ordered an item from the menu titled "bowl of meat", and girlfriend ordered a pizza from the selection of pizzas on the menu. We also each got a beverage (a soda and a lemonade). I asked for a glass of water also, and was pointed to a tray of glasses at the end of the bar and a water pitcher. We then picked a table outside. Around 715, it began to rain, and we moved inside. I went to the bar to inform the same individual that we had changed tables due to rain. Response was a sigh followed by "ok" (my girlfriend informed me that this was, as far as she knew, the owner). A half hour after that, now appropriate 745 (75 minutes after our reservation), our meals arrived. The lady who brought our meals said "sorry about the wait", left our meals, and departed. This would be the only time a human would visit our table while we were there. There was a dog and a cat that each visited multiple times (both were quite pleasant animals). My girlfriend reported her pizza was quite good. My entree, I would not describe as good. What was described as a sausage dish with herbs and scallions topped with peanuts and sided with sticky rice, was a pile of onions and scallions with a little sausage thrown in and topped with peanuts. This was quite possibly the most anemic meat dish I've come across. The rice was literally dripping water and crunchy. And the entire dish was room temperature. Normally, after bite one, this would be brought directly to the attention of staff, but this didn't occur because as much as I was unimpressed with what was before me, I did not want my girlfriend to feel bad because it was her choice of restaurant, and since nobody ever came to so much as ask if anything was needed it would have meant carrying this dish to the bar (less than ideal). Calling this experience disappointing would be a gross...

I'm dissapointed to see some of the reviews on here and what people choose to be bitter about. My husband and I have been coming here for the last few years and we have never had a bad experience. In fact, we've had the exact opposite. Toddy Pond Farm is a hidden gem with great food and amazing people!
Do your research, it's not your typical dining experience which is what makes it special. Greg & Heide send out a detailed email prior to your reservation to make the evening run more smoothly- take the time to read it and be respectful.
-Yes, it's a drive but it's worth it. -Yes, the food is on the pricier side but you're paying for actual real quality food- something that isn't easy to come by now a days. -Yes, the food sometimes takes longer. It's not your typical in and out restaurant- it's a full experience. Enjoy being able to truly be in the moment and spend time in a beautiful place. -Yes, you need to make a reservation ahead of time to ensure you have a spot. Plan ahead, it's worth making the prior commitment.
We bring friends and family who have never been to share in the joy that is Toddy Pond Farm and we encourage you to...
Read moreI’ve been to the farm dinners at Toddy Pond a few times this summer (2022) and it has been so much fun. They’ve done such a nice job with the place. Beautiful big space with seating indoors and outdoors in a lovely garden area in the orchard or by the fire pits, great live music, and absolutely delicious food!! The menu has been slightly different each time I’ve gone and each time I am so excited to see what they’ve got. It’s all fresh “farm to table” with meat, dairy, etc. all from their farm right there. I’ve loved everything—the lamb burgers, pizzas, etc. and don’t leave without having one of their homemade ice cream sandwiches!! It’s also really fun to go see all the animals—pigs (including piglets if you’re lucky! So cute) and sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and more. There’s space for little ones to run around, and a really nice atmosphere for a family or couples meal. Good drink selection too. All in all a great experience....
