Hibachi Buffet — Restaurant in Monroeville

Absolutely wonderful.. just relocating to Monroeville from Colorado, and it was a pleasure to see the Hibachi Buffet open on Sunday. The food was excellent, the facility and premises were constantly bring cleaned, the service was very quick and polite. The people were very nice; the tables and chairs were immediately cleaned and disinfected after every customer left.. The wait staff were very kind, and the cashier was especially wonderful to deal with, and I will be returning again, quite soon. It was exceptional on all counts. May 22,22- ordered a pick up for take out.. was promptly made, prior to me even arriving.. was wonderful, and service and portions were great.. will be returning, or ordering out again..

We ate there several times and it was ok until today , ordered $50 worth of foods to take it home for dinner. Unexpectedly fishy smells hit my nose immediately the minute I opened the boxes. The fried rice looked like leftovers from lunch buffet, it was dark brown color and very dry. The Habachi looked nothing like Habachi we ate before at other restaurants, again looked like leftovers from the buffet. Chicken and shrimp smell and taste really bad. My boyfriend got sick and threw up after tried to eat few pieces of chicken and fried rice.

When we call to tell them that the food was rotten, the answer is when we’re back in town they will refund us the dinner but really who wants to eat rotten food...

Went with high expectations! Sadly disappointed! Read my reviews we visit Chinese buffets often and this one was horrible! Hot & sour soup was “ok” but had no spice to it! Rangoon filling was decent but wrappers were very thick and hard. All chicken on buffet was swimming in sauce and tough. Fried rice was dried out and cold! Now we aren’t sushi people so that may be what everyone was bragging about. Waitress was well below average as well. Whole experience was very poor! We did notice a lot of people getting takeout from the bar. If this is the best Chinese Monroeville has to offer we feel sorry for...
