Hobo's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Mont Belvieu

Great sandwiches at good prices but, I probably won't go back. They aren't open when they say they are. A co-worker and myself went for lunch on a Saturday. The hours stated 11AM-4PM, the big sign in the window stated "yes we are OPEN". It was 11 AM and the door was locked. There were cars out front so I assumed there was someone in the kitchen. We spent the next 10 min trying to get someone to the door. At least 3 other potential customers watched us until we left and they also left. If you post times to be open, be open! Its always the little hole in the wall or off the main road spots that dish out some of the best food. Came here for lunch while working nearby in Mont Belvieu and it was incredible. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. A definite must try for anyone, especially those working at the plants nearby. My husband and I wanted to try a local place for lunch, and we saw this place on Google maps that had good reviews so we thought why not try it. Upon arriving we were a little taken back by the initial appearance, but pushed through. Glad we did, the staff was kind and the food was delicious. We got the ham and Swiss, and the roasted turkey.
