I got to have breakfast here finally. I had heard the biscuits and gravy and the huevos rancheros were good from multiple people. They ARE! Everything came out hot, and fast. Coffee was fresh and refilled frequently by our waitress, Kyla. I must say I was pleasantly surprised that a Tex mex place would have such good biscuits and gravy, but they do! I can’t praise them enough. Those biscuits and gravy are addictively good. The service was great, and Kyla was very sweet and had a definite sense of humor. The atmosphere was really nice too. The music was on and was fun. It wasn’t too loud, but just right. Enough to make you sing and move in your seat. While chatting with the waitress, I learned that they are WAAYY more fun than I knew about. They have a rooftop there that they do multiple things on. They have the game, Cornhole, up on the rooftop. You can take your drinks up there and enjoy the sun. We went and checked it out and it’s all fenced and has the green turf. I think there were 3 sets of boards. (Don’t quote me, lol). I also learned that they do karaoke often. I want to say it was Thursday nights? How fun is that!! You can have a quesadilla and margarita and then go sing your favorite song. Saturdays they do live music on the rooftop. I imagine a person can hear it in the restaurant with those big garage doors open, in the parking lot, or on the outside tables. (They had those overhead heaters too) The atmosphere was as colorful as the decorations they have. The people that work there were fun, liked some of the older fun music, would joke, and were very informative about the area. They even recommended a place I knew nothing about, ziplining. These people were so nice and did a great job with my breakfast. I will be back for karaoke, cornhole, and live music.
PS they do a frozen margarita deal on Mondays....
Read moreAtmosphere: We went on a Thursday evening from 6 to 7:20pm. We are visiting from out of town, and a local suggested Jordi's. When we arrived, there was one group of 12 and two people sitting at the bar. There was only one server who also happened to be the bartender named Beckey. She was working hard but visibly frustrated as the restaurant filled up quickly, and the new people coming in had to go sit in the casino. She struggled to keep up as she was doing it all: greeting, drinks, chips & salsa, orders, delivering food, refills, and checks. We were shocked they only had one person working tables. We saw many warm plates of food sit in the window for quite a bit as she didn't have time to get them out. The group of 12 was very loud, especially one guy wearing a man bun and Hawaiian shirt. He was louder than the two children at the table. Someone from the table works at Jordi's as she would get up and get their table drink refills, and even greeted two tables and got them menus. The dishwasher was very visible to our line of sight. He seemed very bored as he did a lot playing around. He played with his watch, played with his knife, then was taking his knife to his watch, flipping clean dishes (metal strainer and cooking utensils) over and over. He dropped the utensil a few times on the ground and then finally hung it up. Yes, hung it up instead of washing it! We wondered many times why he wasn't helping clear tables or something useful. As we we're getting ready to leave, he finally helped her in the front. Now to the food....it was delicious! The chips and salsa were perfect. Great tex-mex salsa! We ordered a Bison Burrito Grande and BBQ Texas Brisket Tacos along with 2 beers. Both dishes were amazing and we would highly...
Read moreIf I could I could leave zero stars, I would. I went there a few days ago and ordered the shrimp tacos and 2 chicken tenders meals for my kids. Walked in and thought I was at a dive bar……..no one was in there eating except a few people at the bar. The manager approached me to see what I needed, and not only was her speech slurred but she reeked of alcohol. I told her about my to-go, she came back with my food, I checked the food, only one chicken tender and zero fries for both meals. When I tried getting her attention, she acted like she couldn’t hear me, so I left ( didn’t yell nothing just kept saying “excuse me ma’am). My shrimp was severely undercooked and unseasoned, the rice that came with was undercooked and overly seasoned. As a certified cook, I noticed NO ONE was wearing gloves OR hair nets. The cooks in the back have beards, and I saw one smoking in the back while parking. I doubt this place follows all health codes and food handling protocols. I haven’t tried the food simply because of the way it was cooked so I can’t tell you about the food, the atmosphere is more for drinking than eating. I would definitely drive the extra miles to go to butte where you have a WAY better Mexican cuisine selection, instead of settling for whatever cuisine this is, because it isn’t Tex Mex,...
