I am writing this review as a food science consultant who has helped entrepreneurs work with Youbar as their nutrition bar manufacturer. Youbar is a company that helps entrepreneurs bring their energy/nutrition/protein bars to market. They have a great team of food scientists and developers on staff to help both small (and larger) start up companies to market. They are a great co packer choice for companies looking to produce smaller volumes and are not quite ready for 50-100,000 bar minimums that other larger manufacturers may require. Their costs are reasonable but it is important to make sure you (the entrepreneur) are clear on the various fees that they will charge. Youbar has documents and spreadsheets that offer up that information as well as great sales team that can answer all your questions. I know that some entrepreneurs have complained here on google about fees - but those entrepreneurs should realize that they are paying for the opportunity to produce small bar runs- which most co packers will not do. This is not a reprutable company. They lie and will cheat you out of your money. You will never reach bring a product to market using this company. Please believe me. These review are fake and from employees most likely. They took over $6,000 from me to create a formula and would not share any costs along the way. They then wanted to charge me $2000 for the recipe i just created. And when it came time to produce the protein formula, they tried to charge me $33 per 740 ml bag. That did not include shipping, packing, and fees. They were cagey about sharing any pricing information but happily took my money all along the way.
