Troy’s Donuts — Restaurant in Montgomery

This just happen to me today November 29th 2021. After I got off of work in my work uniform. I walk in and ask for a small chocolate ice cream. That lady gets my screen and then checks me out. Tells me that it's $1.08. I give her a $5 bill. The lady asks me do I have $0.08 I reply in my car can I go to my car get the $0.08 return in and give the lady my $0.08 and Grandma ice cream. The lady told me that I gave her $1 I replied no ma'am. I gave you a $5 bill. she replies no you gave me a dollar bill, proceeded to argue with me. Like I want to steal money from her. As we go back and forth she says well let me check the cash register. open the cash register and sees my $5 bill sitting where the $1 bills are like I told her and like I was not lying to her about. made me upset that she talk to me and act like I was the thief...

I went into this shop 3 weeks ago to ask for something very simple. A cup of Hot water. The cashier looked at me with a puzzled look on her face and proceeded to question me on why I just wanted to buy a cup of hot water. I did not feel the need to explain to her my personal reasons. I felt very uncomfortable, she than made me more uncomfortable by going to the back and asking her boss if she was allowed to sale it to me or maybe how to ring it up. No matter what the girl made the whole exchange very weird and uncomfortable. Now I will never go in the shop again because of this, it originally made me happy to go there because the people were so nice but the girl really ruined my view...

Was looking for some breakfast and pulled into Troy’s Donuts…sometimes you just get really lucky. The young lady at the counter (sorry I did not ger her name) took excellent care of me and I selected a sausage, egg, cheese, and potato breakfast burrito and a couple of donuts. The breakfast burrito is one of the best I’ve had…stuffed full of all the goodness and cooked perfectly. Added a touch of their hot sauce and it really kicked it over the top. Loved the donuts…the cinnamon was soft inside with a slightly crunchy crust and the old fashioned glaze did not last long. Great food and wonderful service…if I lived here they would be a regular...
