My family has been dining here since 1992, while there’s been a few changes over time (decor, residents in the aquariums, the transition away from buffet service); many great things have stayed- the quality of the food, tried and true favorite recipes are still available and several members of staff remain onboard after all these years. Alongside the dining area, there’s a cozy bar seating area and in the warm months, there’s a small amount of outdoor seating available on the deck. In addition to dine-in, they offer take out as well, the food quality is consistent in both services. The menu is available on their website. Daily drink specials are shared on their Facebook page, complete with photos. As part of the menu, there are combination plate specials for lunch and dinner, as well as special menu section featuring a variety of offerings for varying levels of guests- a fun option to try a variety of things. While reservations aren’t needed, if you were to come in a large group (8 or more guests), I would encourage it to allow staff to prearrange seating if tables need to be placed together. I think the prices are fair for the quality and would generally estimate meals at $10-$20 per person (at the time of this writing).

Had the cashew chicken spicy which wasn't terribly spicy. Eggrolls were fresh. Overall very pleasant atmosphere and as you can see from the fish pretty cool. Note that the picture shows a buffet but there's no buffet anymore

Went here while waiting for our tire change, the lady in charge was friendly and their dog sat beside us which was fine, coz I love dogs. Their food was good and the service was fast. Would recommend!

Great place! They keep the buffet hot, frequently refilled, and well filled. A really good selection, and good Veg. selections too. It’s not the biggest buffet, but I’ll trade that for quality, fresh ingredients every time. But, if they have the Black Pepper Steak, you're going to want to try that! And the Homemade dumplings! Excellent Gen. Chows'... The Bad Reviews seem to be mostly about coming in at the end of the Buffet hours, and not having everything they want fresh on display. I went in within a 1/2 hour of the Buffet closing and they warned me they were running low. They let me take a look and I said OK, I know it’s late. The Owner asked if it was OK and I said I could have used a couple of Chicken wings. (theirs are the BEST around!) And he brought me some fresh! Very nice waitstaff!! Can't beat the $$ for all you can eat! And very clean! Seriously, I’ve been in the cleaning industry for a long time. The kitchen is clean, and the buffet is super clean and to temp!! Not like another nearby competitor, who shall remain nameless. Unless... ask me.

Even with the new Covid Restrictions the place is fabulous. Their take out is great, and all the people who showed up at 8:45 for a buffet that closes at 9:00 and weren’t impressed don’t have that excuse to give a bad review. I’ve lived all over America, including 10 years on Maui. I know good Asian Food, and this is truly the best in the area. I’ve been trying to get them to deliver. You want to please talk them into it. So the Buffet is gone forever…but the food remains excellent. Lunch Specials can’t be beat for the price, Same with the...

Placed a 75$ order last night and was very disappointed. On the menu under the Pupu platter it states you can have 1 substitute for an additional 1.50 I asked to replace chicken wings for crab Rangoon and was told she only allows people to order them as a set of 8, no acceptions. So, I try again and ask for beef teriyaki. Got told the same exact thing. How can you advertise on your menu one thing but then just want people to pan out more money by not allowing the substitutions. I was then informed I could ONLY substitute something for something that was already in the Pupu platter. Again. Their menu does NOT say that at all. When we received the food the spare ribs came cold and the flavor of the food was terrible. To label your pupu platter as "famous" is very deceiving when it doesn't even come with rice! You're spending $25 for very minimal stuff. Crazy! Then what kills me the most. What I wanted substituted (the chicken wings) were served to me undercooked. I did not get any form of refund or acknowledgement of it! I will never be eating...
