Art of Coffee — Restaurant in Montross

Our food was great and brought to us in a timely manner. I have gone to this restaurant multiple times, usually without anything negative to say as food is always good and atmosphere is nice. However, today was a completely different experience. I accidentally ordered a drink with regular milk meaning to get almond milk. I went up to the counter to order a new drink with almond milk. As I was waiting to order, I noticed an employee look out of the kitchen and then look back and vape inside of the kitchen by where the food is prepped. I then watched this same employee walk behind the barista counter and drink a customer’s prepared drink on “accident” as the other barista said that she just “drank another customer’s drink” and she would “not be able to put it out and needed to make a new one”. I was really disappointed to see this happening as it made me question how often vaping is done around the food as well as “sips” being taken out of...

We were visiting the area and this place came highly recommended. We arrived around 1030am on a Sunday and although it was quite full we able to find seating. Now onto the food and service. No one greets you and tells you that you need to seat yourself. I suppose because it's a local spot it's expected you would know. We both ordered The #1 The American Artist and when it arrived it looked nothing like what was pictured on their site. The eggs were flat and dry, the hash was clearly not made fresh and were from a bag and the biscuit tasted like water and flour. My latte was surprisingly good but there the coffee was very weak. As for pricing. Definitely overpriced based on the quality of service and food we received. Overall, our experience at the AOC was dismal. Will...

Well we came in … not busy at all … nobody greeting us … we sat down … the older lady behind the counter eating and talking to co workers … We finally figured out to get the menu at the counter … where this older lady was 😟… sorry to say it but was 😟 still stuffing her face … With a manager like this I am wondering 🤔 what is going on in the kitchen … When we came up and ordered she was still eating … talking with her mouth 👄 full taking our order … we ordered to dine in … the ice tee took 30 minutes … mmm The girl who brought our food 🥘 for take out … she noticed the mistake and apologized for her manager who made this mistake … we were dining in … oh well … The food 🥘 was ok … yes It was really sad 😢 … I ask the managers...
