Best Donuts and Kolaches — Restaurant in Moody

I love donuts! And am very picky when it comes to eating them. When we decided to build a house in Moody I thought I would have to drive to a neighboring town to get donuts. For the past year we've been driving by this donut shop but it's always late so it's closed. But this last week we were working on our house and was out very early so we stopped in. I judge all donut shops on their glazed donut so that is what I ordered. I was happy when I saw it, it wasn't heavily coated with sugar and it was nice and airy and plump. I was delighted when I tasted it, not sicky sweet so I could taste the actual donut and not just sugar. Since then we've tried other donuts 🍩 and the Kolaches. All were delicious! I am happy to know when we finish the house and actually get moved I don't have to drive far to enjoy...

I will be honest i wasn't expecting this! Great little shop. They pay attention to details Had dozen donut holes bagged and ready to take and go. Surprisingly, a lot of places don't do that. They had a variety of options, even Cronuts. They had fancy donut holes that were in a tray and chocolate drizzled with sprinkles. Great for kids or kids at heart . Tried an egg ,bacon, muffin, and to my surprise, the egg was seasoned!!!! Love that. The spicy kolache was actually spicy. Lots of light, well kept, greeted us upon entering. 10/10 for this small mom & pop donut shop. We will be stopping by anytime we are passing...

I remember this place popping up when I was in high school. I graduated 2017 and had never given them a chance becuase I'm not really a donut type of guy.

Went on a Saturday morning and could not have been more impressed. Kolaches and donuts were fresh and delicious. The family that runs it couldn't have been more kind.

If you're in moody, please give this place your business. They deserve it. Not many restaurants in Moody have sticking power like this place, but they've definitely earned it! Hope they're around for many...
