Tierra Rejada Golf Club (The Ranch Restaurant) was an absolute dream to work with for our Royal High School Class of 2005 20-year reunion! From the very beginning, Maryann and Elana went above and beyond to help us figure out the perfect set-up that met both our vision and our budget. They were flexible, creative, and genuinely cared about making our event special.
They also made sure every single dietary restriction was accommodated - and did so without any extra fees, which is practically unheard of these days. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the presentation was on point. The set-up on the night of our reunion was exactly what we had requested (if not better), and every staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the evening.
To top it all off, when we realized we had accidentally left something behind after the event, a member of their team had already secured it safely in the office so we could pick it up the next day. Talk about thoughtful service!
I truly cannot recommend this venue enough. It’s beautiful, professional, and exceeded all expectations... the perfect place to host a...
Read moreI'm not sure why this course has such a low rating. I recently moved from Florida, so I have played my fair share of "renowned" courses. I decided to play Tierra Rejada this past Saturday, and maybe it was the fact that it's Spring, but the course was incredible. At the moment, I can't think of a course I've enjoyed more, but I can say it is definitely in my top 3 favorite courses all time.
The course is in pristine shape. Perfect fairways, and the greens, while quite fast, were perfectly consistent, and not to mention the views are absolutely beautiful. Bring some extra balls, because it's quite a challenging course with serious elevation changes, blind tee shots, and tight fairways due to the mountainous terrain. Although, some of the elevated tee boxes can be rewarding with some seriously deep tee shots.
Sent my friends back in Florida some pictures I took while playing and they were blown away. If you are lucky enough to live within range of TR, and haven't yet played, I highly recommend setting a tee time as you will...
Read moreOne of my favorite courses. But a recent policy change makes it so I will not be playing here as a single golfer. They charge a $25 cart fee for single riders without a warning. The course requires golf carts, they are mandatory. To me this feels like a cash grab and I'm very disappointed.
Edit: In response to Tierra Rejada below.
This was a twilight tee time with a relatively open tee-sheet. Since it was Twilight I was hoping to get in nine holes, and there was one other single booked for that tee time.
If it was earlier in the day I could understand receiving a $25 cart fee, however I feel different for a Twilight 9, and see it being an exorbitant fee and prohibitive for single twilight players to come. All while not even offering a prorated cart rate for twilight. Other courses may have individual cart fees, but those other courses do not require you to use a cart, so you have the...
