McDonald's — Restaurant in Moose Lake

As a resident I suppose I can’t expect 5 star service but yet somehow I’m always still getting disappointed.

I have a diesel truck, so out of courtesy I shut it off as I pull up to the menu board. I worked in fast food for 3 1/2 years, I get it, it’s annoying on the speaker.

I pull up to the board, and get the automated message (hello will you be using the app today?) No I don’t have the app because this place sucks and I can’t get any service in the drive through.

Then I sit there and call out. Hello? Anyone there? I’m ready to order? I know it’s not my vehicle being loud, they should be able to hear me. Meanwhile the dude next to me can pull up and get served easily.

So now I have to go inside to order. Can I order from a human? A human that understands what a plain burger is? Nope. Not unless I want to waste the other 20 minutes of my break I have left waiting on a human to come to the counter

Now I must order from a kiosk. Not because I want to, but simply, for some reason I don’t get recognized in the drive through or a service counter. Multiple times. So now I don’t even try.

You know what sucks the most? The drive through is WAY faster. Like 10x faster. How many people get served while I wait at a kiosk? This place has cold fries and...

Around 1:30ish, they stopped at the Moose Lake McDonald's to grab a snack and a drink. The girl who took their order was absolutely hateful. The girl told my Grandmother that she couldn't hear her so my Grandmother spoke louder. Girl told her again that she still couldn't hear her, so my Grandmother spoke louder.

The girl proceeded to SCREAM AT HER that she still couldn't hear her. In the midst of this, the orders between her slot and the other were getting switched on the screens. My Grandmother pointed this out and the girl SCREAMED AT HER AGAIN.

I am appalled at the nerve of this woman! I get that things can be irritating and it is hard to hear sometimes. But this? This was completely uncalled for. She was absolutely rude and kept interrupting. This is disgusting and just...ugh.

She needs an attitude adjustment. My Grandmother has never had ANYONE at ANY sort of establishment treat her so badly or even...

Everything was dark when we arrived in the parking lot. We'd been having a heated discussion during our travels and just had to satisfy a basic need. The parking spot seemed to be made for compact cars only. Maybe even those little smart cars with 3 wheels. However it felt freshly paved. So smooth and warm and not a tuft of grass anywhere to be seen. I had to gently ease my big shiny truck into the spot at first. But we were both hungry and had no patience anymore so I gunned it and rammed into that spot like I owned it. And owned it I did. Flushed from the enjoyment of being stuffed with such a big satisfying meal, my wife sighed and told me to hurry home and get her to bed.
