Wowzo! I was looking for a spot that sells scrumptious Chinese food every other spot in morganton wasn't so enjoyable 😂😔I went here to chens garden to try out the Chinese food my expectations weren't so high because of the previous places I've gone to but my, my I was flabbergasted The food here is sooooooooo good ever sense I came here my life has changed My grades have increased I pull more And my love for Chinese people has never been so high! I try to be as polite as I can cause they are so nice but I just confuse them because of my terrible Mandarin 😂😭😱. Any ways what I'm just saying is this place is the place to try out and have some delicious china food. Hands down the best Chinese place in morganton. My favorite Chinese restaurant just closed,this was our 1st time ordering from here. Ordered 3 cheese wontons and a beef with broccoli combo meal. The wontons were so hard and chewy we couldn't eat them, none of the 3 orders. They looked almost burnt and tasted awful. The beef with broccoli was good, egg roll okay, fried rice was not great but okay. Paid $26 and had to throw away all the wontons, didn't eat rice, only ate beef with broccoli. Drove 35 mins just to get food here. Times like they are, I'm upset I wasted so much money on food we couldn't eat. I'm a huge fan of "new york" style chinese food. I've lived and traveled all over the country, and this is seriously some the VERY BEST chinese food i've ever eaten. SO DELICIOUS, EVERY TIME, AND FAST. and their LOW $ prices are hard to beat. their beef w/ broccoli is perfection. fried dumplings are incredible. sesame chicken is crispy and not too sweet. vegetable lo mein is wonderful (they almost never overcook their vegetables). heck, even their fried rice beats 99% of any other chinese take out in the US. and they are such a FRIENDLY family, great customer service. i'm SO GRATEFUL to have found this restaurant, makes my tummy purr. hands down best chinese in Morganton, western piedmont, and beyond.
