Ordered a custom cake for my boyfriend's birthday. While the cake was delicious, I can't help but feel as though I was a little cheaped out for the amount I paid. I had sent them a few inspiration photos, all of which contained a 3-dimensional guitar decoration on top of the cake. I asked that the cake look similar to those photos... with a guitar decoration and musical notes on it like in the photos. Whether that guitar topping would've been made of candy, plastic, fondant, or something else, I would have been happy with it. When I got the cake, it only had a flat print out of a guitar on it. Albeit I didn't explicitly ask for a 3D guitar decoration, but then again, every photo I had sent to them contained an obvious three-dimensional mini model guitar decoration... Not to mention the amount I paid for this cake. Generally speaking, the cake I received looked a tad sad without the guitar decoration I had hoped for. I liked the frosting design and little gold pebbles, but for a small 9' cake, I expected more for having spent over $70 on the darn thing.

Ignore the smudged/slid over side of the cake.. that happened during transport and was not a fault of the bakery!

Edit: They reached out to me and were real kind about it. She says she would've done a better guitar decoration had she known it was that important. They were super generous and gave a pretty hefty...

I ordered a lemon blueberry marscarpone cake for my husband as part of his Father's Day present. It was beautiful and tasted amazing. It's now my husband's favorite cake! For Mother' Day, my husband bought me a giant lemon blueberry cupcake with lemon curd filling and it was delicious! Stopped in for some breakfast before work. We got several pastries and some coffee. The prices are very reasonable and the food was excellent! We were in and out in a few minutes.
