Asador Don Pablo — Restaurant in Morovis

Good atmosphere but horrendous service. If I could rate it 0 I would but I can't obviously. Food took around 2 hours to be served. Our server was never to be found till it was time to charge for our food. Convenient right? I had to walk towards the kitchen and ask about our food 3 times and answer I was given was "they are plating right now". Ten minutes later the were "just starting to plate the food" which is now 25 minutes and another 10 minutes came by and food started to come out cold and wrong. So I proceeded to complain since my kids were starving and were the last ones to be served. No one took care of it except for the hostess who was actually the one giving the face over everything happening. We got our drinks flat no soda whatsoever I guess CO 2 was out as well, after we were almost done with our food! Excuse was that kitchen was backed up when we were the only ones that ordered food because everyone else had just drinks and no food and came after my family and I. Definitely I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Take your business...

After spending the day zip lining in Toro Verde we were all exhausted and starving and was not looking forward to driving an hour back to eat. Driving back down that mountain starving and running out of gas we stumbled across this gem. There were a bunch of small little places on the way back down and I almost stop just to put something in my stomach but I’m glad we didn’t. The food was AMAZING! We had mini alcapurrias, bacalaitos, my son had empanada de pollo (chicken) with tostones and the pollo was not dry, I had arroz blanco with abichuelas guisa (rice and beans) with fried pork and it too was juicy and delicious!!! I visit the place on December 21 and it was amazing. They had a great party going on with a local group of “pleneros” and they have everybody dancing and singing. They have a great variety of beers including local beers, US beers, and craft beers.
