Big Cuppa — Restaurant in Morrilton

The customer service here is horrible. My daughter and I stopped by here on Saturday. We stood at the counter and not one person greeted us or ask us if we needed anything. When we did start to place our order, our encounter with the cashier was so odd. I seriously thought I was in the twilight zone speaking in a foreign language. The cashier/employee Ashley seriously was no help. She seemed to have trouble comprehending. She tried to ring me up for a breakfast sandwich that cost more than the egg croissant that I was wanting. Instead of her asking for help (because she couldn’t find the button for it), she wanted to up charge me. I went ahead and canceled my sandwich order and just ordered coffee. Then my daughter asked for the spicy turkey panini with bbq chips. Before I even paid for anything the lady in the kitchen came out and asked Ashley if we ordered the croissant that was in her hand. I told her no, but Ashley told her yes. I then proceeded to tell Ashley that we didn’t order a croissant, we ordered a panini. Without warning, Ashley turned around and followed the cook back in the kitchen and stayed gone for quite awhile. My daughter and I took that as a sign that we didn’t need to spend my money at this establishment. So we walked out. To whom ever owns this establishment, please train your employees. I am always going to choose #LocalCoffee over any of the big chains and today's choice was the right one. We stopped at Big Cuppa's location on Broadway in Morrilton for a rest, some coffee and something for breakfast. We found all.

Mrs. K enjoyed her latte and I enjoyed my big pourover of "Mexican" that was delicious with notes of brown sugar. Awesome to have a real cup of coffee today!

With it, an egg and cheese on an everything bagel that was prepared fresh. Delicious and filling and I'm glad we ate it here as the seeds went everywhere. Yummy.

I am a regular here, but my wife is not. Well, I was unable to go on my normal day to get a bag of coffee,so I asked the wife to go while she was in the neighborhood. I told her what I wanted. She got there and they were out of that particular roast. She didn't know what to get. She is not much of a coffee drinker. She mentioned to Joe that her husband comes in about once a week and he recognized that as being me. He remembers what I drink and picked out a different roast I have been known to buy and hooked me up. Great service!!! Try getting that at some Starbucks chain store. ...
