After leaving one of our favorite local breweries, we searched for nearby wineries—and this gem popped up. On a hot and blustery summer day, the peaceful charm (and welcome air conditioning) of this off-the-beaten-path winery was exactly what we needed as a follow-up to a beloved spot.
Deb (I believe that was her name) guided us through an impressively extensive wine list, featuring everything from dry to sweet varieties. In a region where dry wines can be hard to find, we were pleasantly surprised by the range—and quality. Since one of us prefers dry and the other leans sweet, we ended up sampling nearly the entire lineup, and we’re so glad we did.
What started as a quick stop turned into a longer, leisurely visit. We each enjoyed a glass, soaking in the relaxing atmosphere. The Sunday brunch they offer looks absolutely incredible, and it’s already on our list as a reason to make the drive up from Pittsburgh again soon.
The grounds are beautiful, complete with a spacious pavilion and a lovely waterfall, making this more than just a winery—it’s a destination, tucked into the scenic backroads of north-central Pennsylvania.

Read moreSuch an amazing winery with the most friendly owners and staff! My wife and I were on an overnight trip and we found this place on Google. So glad we did! From the first time we walked in we felt so welcomed in such a cool atmosphere. The winery is just north of Phillipsburg in Clearfield County, Pa very close to Penn State University. They let us taste a variety of wines and we ultimately decided on the Cabernet Savignon, which was absolutely amazing. They served it chilled, which was unique but very nice. They also have a gazebo that they were setting up for a surprise birthday party. If I was from the area, I would utilize it for a variety of parties we have throughout the year! Just a cool atmosphere and they let us watch the Penn State football game. We will definitely be back as this...
Read moreI visited this winery for the first time today. I’ve lived in Morrisdale for 3.5 years and had no idea this place existed and it’s definitely worth visiting! My friend and I had a great time wine tasting and talking to the staff. The atmosphere is very clean and inviting. They have a large selection of wines (reasonably priced), spacious indoor and outdoor seating, and a full bar. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because I wish they offered refrigerated cheese that can be purchased for wine tasting. Otherwise,...
