Miller's Barbecue — Restaurant in Morven

We were on a venture to find peaches from north Florida on a dud Camping trip... for a later post.. on our way we happen upon a precious little hole in the wall gem! Millers BBQ is fantastic! Since it was during the week (Tuesday) it wasn't at capacity, with the Gentleman of the town holding court in the back, also just as kind with southern hospitality as expected in our beloved south .... anyway, the food... was outstanding! Our 3 and 5 year old girls (with their standard fare of cheeseburgers please) loved their "special cheeseburgers " lol... pulled pork sliders...licking their fingers asking for more and gobbling their homemade mac and cheese. Also trying my favorite fried okra. And loving it. My much more adventurous 12 year old son (5'9 180lbs) ate 1/2 slab of ribs, with fixings and finished anything everyone else couldn't eat. Hubby had pulled pork and myself chopped dark meat chicken. I know this can be simple fare, but I have had all of this in bad restaurants. This was not one of them! Awesome food! While there we found out about their Sunday's all you can eat buffet! We have just discussed we will be making the 45 min drive back...

Just like your mothers kitchen the food and the proprietors as well as their staff make you feel like you are at your moms table.The ribs are slow cooked to perfection tender,excitingly delicious,my favorite the collard greens,are off the chain,home made corn bread,warn and lite,this is country cooking for real.Black eyed peas,super delicious cabbage,pulled pork,with fries for you sandwich lovers.The kindess, most loving people youll ever meet.O yes the deserts are sinful if you are watching your waist line.stop im and tell th that michael of ft laud.fla sent you I promise you that youll find it to be all ive told you and more. The definition of Comfort food. Experts at their craft. Excellent buffet. Not to mention the bananna pudding. I've eaten Millers BBQ since i was a toddler, when the concrete slab with the smoke stack out front was the whole building. So as a bias opinion I reccomend Miller's to all passerbys and to all who need their Catering needs met. Just pull-up and dig in. And im warning all who read this don fall asleep in there.
