Big A$$ Biscuits & Burgers — Restaurant in Mount Carmel

They were a little busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our food.The lady that waited on us was kind .I ordered a large biscuit and gravy side of sausage which is 9.79.My daughter ordered a large biscuit gravy 6.99 with a small cheddar rounds which was like 3.50 I think .When we received our food we weren't given any silverware and my daughter didn't get her cheddar rounds .I had to get up and wait to ask for those .The whole right side portion of my plate was cold I mean cold !!! not just the gravy but the biscuits .There was only a tiny portion on the other side of my plate that was semi warm the rest was cold .I was going to say something but the server never came to the table until the very end when we were done.When we got up to pay our server overcharged us .She charged my daughters meal as a combo the 9.79 price plus the cheddar round charge I ordered the combo one but she didn't get a side so she should've been charged 6.99 instead of 9.79 .I politely said something and she called another worker to fix the register issue. He wasn't the manager but had a very poor attitude when I was explaining the overcharge ,since he had an attitude I went ahead and said that my food was cold .He didn't apologize but instead said why didn't you say something then. I said how could I the server never came to our table until we were finished. He continued with his bad attitude so I said why are the cooks serving cold food I will never go back here .Fine dining prices and you get terrible service and cold...

Second time we tried to eat here. First time we at least got food that wasn't great but at least we got food. This time however, it was not busy, staffed appropriately, we waited 15 minutes and nobody even got our drink order. They knew we were there because I heard one employee tell his sidekick there was a table of two that needed waiting on. We were ignored by both and were straightening up and filling up condiments. After 15 minutes we walked out and expressed this is no way to treat customers. Needless to say, I will not be a customer again. I highly recommend you go elsewhere. We have been weekly customers since they opened. At first they had great food fixed well. for the last 2 months they cooking has been less desirable. They made spaghetti with a great thick meat sauce, now its in a pool of water in plate with some sauce. The fish was great, but now it comes over cooked almost black, with fish shrunk to jerky. At times one cook is great, but recently we go between 3 pm and 7 pm and cooking is rushed with no pride in work. The staff is friendly and do their job well.
