Rodger's Dairy Freeze — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Ok. So I have been wanting to go here for a while, but I never really had the time. Food: Specifically the Double Cheese Classic Combo. The meat was for SURE formerly frozen. It's the kind if thing that McDonald's serves but a little thicker. Doesn't really taste like meat, but it certainly tries it's best. Fries. 8/10. You get maybe 25 fries if that. They are delicious, sure, but a small serving size. Drink. Refills are advertised, but not carried out. You get a foam cup (for real...) For some reason it's the kind of restaurant you have to be designated a seat. I highly doubt with the parking situation that they will ever reach capacity, but what do I know. Atmosphere. I like the decor, mostly license plates and car related stuff. Typical diner Service. Guy at the front desk was nice. I'm not sure why tipping is a thing here. You don't really get an attentive waiter because there is just two of them. Signing receipts too? Food took about 35 minutes to be brought out, which is awfully slow for a burger and fries. I am a long time customer of Rodgers Dairy Freeze. I have been coming here since I was 14, so 6 years now, nearly once a month. Tonight I came in for a date with my boyfriend. We ordered two simple burgers, one with fried pickles, one with Piccadillys, and a Diet Coke and a shake. They actually got my Diet Coke with no ice right, which is unusual. However, my boyfriend was given maybe a handful of his side, and I got maybe 8 or 10 pickles. It took us two reminders and nearly an hour to get the shake. We had been done with our food for half an hour with multiple groups being served complete drinks and meals before us receiving the shake. We were never apologized to, we were simply told “oh the person you reminded was just a cook.” 4 others got shakes that came in after us before we received ours. My burger was meant to have cheese and had none. I used to love rodgers, it was my favourite and I raved to everyone about it. It is so unfortunate the downhill it has taken. Skimping on sides, taking an hour plus for just a shake, the food quality having gone down massively, it’s somewhere I’m not sure I’ll be revisiting after the past few experiences. I miss the...

We were seated right away. The place was cute and clean. Other than that the service was the worst I've ever experienced. We had to ask to be given a waitress. After waiting even longer we ordered a simple meal of eight corndogs, four fries, and four milkshakes. We got the shakes first. They were good but nothing impressive. My cherry one was just ice cream and pie filling. Several minutes later we got three corndogs and one serving of fries. Several minutes later we got four more corndogs and one more order of fries. We finally got the last corndog but no more fries. After several minutes we had to go talk to them and remind them of our order. We got one more order of fries. When we asked where the last order of fries was they said they forgot. In the meantime another table had received their orders which all included fries and another customer had left because they were so slow. While we were there I saw no more than four tables seated, so the excuse could not have been that they were busy.
