I ordered on the app and went and picked up my food that was ready and waiting on me exactly 0 out of 4 times. App says food is done, get to the store, they start the order. I don't even know if this is a corporate or employee issue. The first time i ordered it charged my card and the order wasnt even there. I had to show the order on the app with the correct store number, and even showed the charge on my card. I got my food, but what?? Today I ordered and it said my food was done before i left my house. There was no one else in line at the time. Not sure if a large group had come in when I ordered. Also, I had ordered a meatball sub and was told they couldn’t make that because someone forgot to thaw out meatballs earlier. I honestly felt bad for the ONE worker there by herself. I do not blame her, she was very nice and quickly made the subs. Based on the reviews, it seems as though the manager ignores all the negative reviews, if this is an ongoing issue which it appears to be. Just a shame for a small town subway! All the employees there are very professional, they are observing all of the necessary COVID and food service sanitation guidelines. It means a lot to see people properly washing their hands, not just a quick rinse and back to work.
If you wear a mask and have to do so while doing a physical job, such as food preparation, the mask can sometimes slide down. I witnessed this happen, but the employees instantly adjusted them in a sanitary fashion. Being a foodservice employee during these times can be challenging, but people are still doing it.
