Mt. Pulaski Cafe — Restaurant in Mount Pulaski

Decided to try this place out as we used to go to the restaurant here before this. Went for breakfast and they have a lot of options. I asked for the Toluca Skillet without onions. I even ordered it in Spanish so there would be no misunderstandings and the waitress verified it with me. The food came loaded with onions. I ate it and it was ok even with the onions. However, when I got home I have been in and out of the bathroom non-stop so something was not good with the food. As to the atmosphere, between the water-stained ceiling tiles and the half wall around the Video Poker area so you have the lights from it flashing non-stop it was rather un-impressive. They definitely need to do some repairs and maybe close in the video...

Very polite staff, large portions, fair food for the price. We like to travel around and find little local spots to eat and this one was pretty OK for breakfast. Very good about taking care if refills and checking on tables. Mid morning few people there. Might stop in again and grab a meal....
